We went to celebrate my birthday We didn't think the website did this resort justice and we nearly didn't book it. When we arrived we were taken back. The whole place was well placed and stunning. The owners design and needs for their guests was well thought out, I guess years of experience goes to show what can be achieved. The staff were very hospitable, polite and tendered to our needs. Special thanks to Mattia and Nina on Front desk and Andrea at the spa for great mixed Yoga. Thanks Misha for nice creative cocktails. The facilities and surroundings were on point. The sunset amazing from the room. However we will definitely be back. Thank you Maslina

On the negative side some of the other guests lack of respect for others in this wonderful place is to be questioned and perhaps the hotel should consider this. It wasn't the fact that kids were there, which was fine, as we have children. Bringing young in the pool during the day perhaps there should be certain times. But the worst was a couple brought their kids dinner in a romantic setting outside by the pool and letting them crying their head off.at 9:30 / 10:00pm at night. Not like some of the other parents who had clearly arranged babysitters to hopefully enjoy the evening dinner and ambiance

Location and design facilities and staff exceptional Have spent life’s work in worldwide highest residential design and hospitality so understand your achievements and how difficult the quality standards you have are to achieve and maintain.The check in was great no hassle reminded me of Residencia in Majorca loved the cats and statement furniture pieces 😊NB Batu quite exceptional in all aspects !!

Always do a subconscious design critique . Restaurant very dark more like a night club so didn’t use it ! Minor other issues coat hangers a joke of form against function every other guest I spoke to also complained. Mirror in bathroom not heated so always steam up a surprise in this quality of hotel . Would suggest movement sensor low level light for night toilet visit to save lighting up bedroom.

Design and the room was great with spacious terrace and view to the sea. Food in the main restaurant was good quality too. free minibar too ,once per stay. breakfast options and service excellent.

housekeeping was a let down. not replenishing the coffee and leaving their cleaning products behind. also bar staff did not follow instructions for a shaken martini. Steam room in the spa looked cheap with rust marks on the wall and plastic seating area.

The location is amazing and the swimming pool too. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. You have complimentary courses like yoga that are great. The spa wellness is nice too. There is a shuttle service to stari grad which is really appreciated. The staff is very nice.

The breakfast offer is poor. There is no buffet which is a pity particularly when you stay for 9days. The menu of the restaurant is always the same. There is no special of the day and quite expensive. It would have been nice to have 2 restaurants one with an easy dinner card and one more elaborated. We went every evening to stari grad as we didn't like the menu of the restaurant and we wanted something easy for our holidays. The sand beach: there is a private area for us but the beach is public and is dirty. A lot of plastics etc. It was not clean which was really a pity as it could have been amazing.

Beautiful chic, stylish hotel with a gorgeous spa & amazing staff who went out of their way to give us a fantastic stay experience. Very generous mini bar policy too & lovely departing gift. My massage with Nina was probably the best I’ve ever had, she’s an incredible therapist. The Manager couldn’t have been more attentive & kind & with the help of lovely Mario booked us in for dinner & arranged some simpler dishes for our daughter. We loved the beach bar too & ate lunch there most days. Also appreciated the free shuttles to/from Stari Grad. Fantastic live jazz night whilst we were there too.

Hard to pick anything but possibly a little broader choice on food menus & better pool service. 34 degrees when we were there & we were all having to go order from the bar & carry water out to the loungers.

My stay at Maslina Resort in Hvar was nothing short of extraordinary—a true treat for the mind, soul, and senses. What more can be said about Maslina? It's heaven on earth. I could have spent another week just lounging on the sunbed down by the sea and swimming in the Adriatic. It is truly bliss. Everyone who works at Maslina is outstanding. They go way above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The bar, restaurant, pool and spa are all perfection. The location cannot be beat. We loved taking the wooden bikes each night down the path to Stari Grad for dinner. It is totally safe and they told us we didn't even need to lock up the bikes. It's like a fairytale town in Stari Grad. We highly recommend it and loved this area much more than Hvar Town.

The only thing that could be better if this was an adult's only resort. I knew it wasn't when I booked, but we were very surprised by the number of children. We didn't use the pool very much because there were lots of children jumping and splashing and sometimes screaming. We were surprised this was allowed at such a tranquil resort but we just spent our days down by the sea which was perfect for us.

Every little detail has been thought of. A fantastic, sustainable hotel in a beautiful location - not too far from Stari Grad. The wellness complimentary timetable was excellent and we enjoyed the yoga classes very much each morning. The spa was one of the nicest we've been in and the gym was great for a hotel gym. We borrowed hotel bikes to get to and from Stari Grad which were wooden - such a great idea to offer this for guests! Completely blown away by the helpfulness of the staff and also made to feel looked after by them. Such a brilliant hotel, I will be coming back here at some point for a longer vacation as we felt sad to leave.

The cost of drinks and food were very high (€6.10 for a glass bottle of coke zero) but there isn't really any other option as the nearest supermarket was a little walk or short bike ride and then it almost felt frowned upon to drink your own drinks next to the pool. Other than this, our stay was perfect!

loved so many things— the rooms and hotel are beautifully furnished with attention to detail -the beds are the most comfortable with amazing bedding. the pools and sea view can’t be beat. it is truly a high quality luxury hotel— had an incredible massage. drinks and food very good but very expensive. everything smells amazing— essential oil spa like! loved being able to walk to old town Stari grad.

really loved everything—to improve, have flip flops for use around property in room, a light in cabinet where making coffee and tea, reduce prices on cocktails a bit, be sure to have items listed for purchase in stock or don’t offer them and finally have room ready as booked— don’t try to give customer a room that isn’t what they booked.

The food is not good enough! A rather ambitious menu, not well executed & some dishes way overpriced (e.g. c£30 for a modest sized smoked fish -amberjack - salad. It was pleasant enough but crazily priced even for Hvar, which is generally pricey.) It wouldn’t stop us going back but we definitely would not eat in the evenings. fortunately there are lots of excellent local alternatives
