Great experience from the first to the last step in this hotel. Very warm welcome with cold towels and a glass of champaigne. A special surprise was an upgrade to the penthouse suite, which was really stunning, with the best view in town. Very elegant room design with the seamless service. Every day during the turn down service we got different amenities: chocolate, cognac, traditional cookies. Luxury Guerlain bathroom amenities were replaced every day. Beautiful a la cart breakfast: matcha latte and avocado toast were my choice, that is not so easy to find in other, even 5 stars hotels in Croatia. Great spa area. Free sunbeds on the most exclusive beach in Hvar, 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

The gym could be better equipped.

À la carte breakfast! omg! Amazing! We stayed in Croatia for 10 days and stayed in 5 star hotels in Dubrovnik, Split and Hvar. We got buffet breakfast in the other hotels, so you cannot compare the breakfast here! No complaints. Staff were amazing and attentive. The location was so central, right at the port, so only 2 min walk from where the ferry dropped us off. Also hotel is next to bars and restaurants.

The only downside was that we didnt get a balcony where we can sit on. At arrival we were told that our room is great and the person at reception recommended to have our breakfast in our room so that we can enjoy the view at the same time. However, there was no balcony and also no table to eat the breakfast. There was also no information on room service in the room. But we didn't mind going down for food anyway. But it would have been nice to have one of the rooms with balcony. Also hotel did not offer to collect us from the port even though they had buggys. We were ok to walk but it would be handy to offer specially if the guests have loads of luggages.

location, cleanliness and most importantly the staff’s effort doing their best for us to get the best experience!

need to offer transportation or making sure the guests know how to get to the hotel. We landed @ Split airport and we had relied on the Taliso ; Taxi company to take us there ; unfortunately they took us the longest way to get to Hvar by ferry with the taxi and the driver who drove is from the other side of the Hvar . Following the GPS our driver has hard time to find the address little we knew he dropped us up behind the hotel . The hotel experience was so great that it was well worth the hassle. But could’ve easily taken the boat from Split instead of the feeey which drops the passengers right the port located by the hotel.. much shorter easier route from Split to Palace Elisabeth Hvar, Herritage Hotel.

Generous breakfast included with room price. Fresh fruit, made-to-order eggs (try the truffled egg!), all in a lovely patio setting. My "city view" room had a sliver of harbor view and was really spacious, much much bigger than my friend's harbor view room. The concierges were excellent and extremely helpful.

Very minor: the privacy hedge on the breakfast patio prevented a harbor view and the breeze

Kayta at the front desk was positively lovely! She made sure we had an exquisite room. The interiors are lovely, luxurious bedding, wonderful products and the location could not be any better! It was a fabulous experience. We were sad that we were there for only night. We will definitely go back to Palace Elisabeth and tell all our friends.

I loved everything and sincerely have no complaints whatsoever. We enjoyed our time there! If I thought there was something to improve upon I would absolutely share it. We were thrilled with our stay!

The location could not be better, the rooms are spacious and luxurious and we had the most amazing view over the port. It was very comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was incredible too, definitely the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced. Reception staff were friendly.

There was some confusion about the opening hours of the pool bar on our first day and while we did end up getting a drink we felt chastised and like we’d put the staff out. There was no signage in the area and the information we were provided at check in was that it was open when it was apparently closed. On another occasion we asked about a food menu for the pool and the waiter was unable to show us one or tell us what was available. It seemed like we should just know and was very awkward. Neither of these issues were particularly bad and we still had an amazing stay, but communication and service at the pool could’ve been better.
