This is an old building but has been fully remodeled inside. Everything is clean and modern inside with the accents of an old hotel. The only drawback is that due to the buildings age and construction there is no elevator/lift so you have to use the stairs. It's not their fault as the building structure will not allow them to put a lift in. But the hotel is beautiful inside and we were more than satisfied with it. The breakfast was typical of a European breakfast, not to my American tastes but it was well done for a European breakfast.

hospitality of staff (and receptionist in particular!) was unmatched. the hotel is probably not worth 10* rating, but i have to go 10* just becase of how helpful was the staff, meeting also demands i really didnt expected to be met. and they always did it with the smile. thank you! yeah, right ... location is the best you can get, restaurant was very good ... and the have parking (even not at the place), but there wiil be a shuttle to pick you up and help with the luggage.,

Splendid main square location with a dining terrace, a sumptuous breakfast that excelled in tarts and crepes, a spacious thick walled and vaulted (!) room and a private shuttle service bringing you to the car park that is quite a distance away due to the town's no-traffic policy.

Nothing really, but the overall organisation is a little loose around the edges and you may want to ask the staff to cool your room down before arrival during particularly hot periods, as there seem to be no air conditioning.

The location is great, as it's placed in the main square of Cesky Krumlov. The bed was comfy and the room very clean. The check in process was fast and effortless, and the price for one night + breakfast was super convenient too. Close to the hotel (same street) there is a delicious tavern for grilled meet lovers.

The bathroom in our bedroom could be a big bigger, but our friends' staying in another room for the same price had a huge one with a lovely balcony, so it's a matter of luck. The breakfast room can get a little messy and noisy due to the small space occupied by a large number of customers.

The staff was amazing, the lady at the reception was so nice, and she offered us a ride to the parking after checking out, which helped us a lot. The location was excellent, at the heart of the town, and breakfast was very good.

No A/C in the room, there was no shower, only taking a bath was possible (not even an option to hang the shower handle above your head), there was a large low window in the bathroom, with no blocking curtains, that made it feeling like there was no privacy.

The location was perfect; it is the center of Prague. For those interested, it is in 50 meters from Primark😀. The staff was absolutely helpful. The rooms are capacious, air-conditioned. There is a hotel driver helping to bring us to the airport for a normal fixed price whis is certainly helpful. The hotel was certainly worth money (much cheaper than many other lower-grade hotels outside of Prague, from Turnov to Cesky Krumlov). The breakfast was well-sufficient and Ok. In short, the hotel is very recommended. We had a zimmer with multiple facilities, including the oven. For those needed parking, one should contact the hotel in advance. There are no any problems with English in communìcating with the staff. Thanks to a young gentleman who helped us to revive a safebox just because we needed urgently the documents stored inside. Thanks to the ladies working on reception. That is the place to stay again [in fact, the hotel was recommded by a local working as a tourist guide]

everything was great. No reasons to complain

A charming boutique hotel in an ancient building on the town square, unique rooms, with modern updates. A very central location, and street noice can be heard with windows open, but tolerable when shut, and the sidewalk chatter dies down in the evening anyway. A very nice, buffet breakfast with many selections. Our room was smallish, but manageable. It was air conditioned, but our friends room wasn’t.

Bedsheets were a little coarse.

Hotel Grand is a lovely hotel with a fantastic location right in the main square of the town. All sights of Cesky Krumlov are within a very short distance from the hotel. Staying over at the hotel enabled us to see the town in the peace and quiet of the morning before the day trippers arrive. The hotel serves excellent breakfast. The staff overall is very nice. Overall a great stay in one of the prettiest towns in the world.

my room was in the second building, not the main one. it was very modern and clean. the staff was wonderful. I was told the walk from the parking lot was easy but it was anything but, especially with a large suitcase. I was very unhappy when I arrived at check-in but they made up for it. I am impressed and appreciate it very much.

my room was very small with a slanted ceiling. it made it impossible to sit up in bed and I hit my head a few times. if not for the windows - which overlooked the backside/alley behind the buildings - I would have felt claustrophobic. also the walls are very thin. you are completely on the honor system with your neighbors to be quiet during “quiet time.”

Location was 10 out of 10. Christmas market right outside your door. Close proximity to everything including the castle. Breakfast was really good. Staff was friendly. It was clean and quiet with a view of the castle and actually was two floors.

Room 36 was a little bit dated modern chic and we would have preferred a more appropriate Cesky Krumlov vibe. No elevator, so that is something to keep in mind. It didn't bother us but it might be important to others. Our room was on the third floor.
