So beautiful, elegant, yet affordable perfectly located hotel! I left the window open a crack and was awaken by - not garbage trucks . . . not the sun . . . Not birds singing, but the smell of fresh baked bread. Heavenly.

Staying in this hotel is equivalent to stepping into the times of the glorious Secession architecture and decoration, while maintaining today's comfort. It's nice to know you are following in Mucha's and Kafka's steps, who allegedly visited the hotel in search of life's pleasures. The hotel has been in the ownership of the same family for 5 generations (you can read about its history in your room) and somehow this shows in the care and pride they took for the little details. You get the feeling of real, warm interaction with the hotel's stuff, unlike in the big chains. Location is great, we stayed there for 5 days and walked everywhere in Prague without needing public transportation. Parking place is close by, as well as virtually endless places to eat and drink. Breakfast is plentiful, it was hard to resist overeating. The breakfast (in the so-called Banker's Bar) is yet another experience,, as the room is nicely decorated in a Secession+Steampunk style. And having a free coffee or tea in the hotel's gorgeous saloon after a long day's walk is truly priceless. I shouldn't forget to mention the beds in the room. I an trying very hard, but can't remember another place where the mattress was so high, that my legs were not reaching the ground when sitting in bed. I felt (and slept) like a baby on that - something that I really took advantage of during the trip. And the view from the window to the little square and church in front of the hotel is timeless. Were it not for the cars, this view surely is the same as 100 years ago. Finally, all the staff at the reception was very nice (including the owner, who does not shy away from the task). But I particularly enjoyed my conversations with Jozef, who does his job with real passion for customer care. It's not likely we return to Prague in the near future, but if we do, we would definitely go back to this hotel

There's nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is situated in the old part of Prague, minutes away from all main streets, high quality restaurants, fun bars and everything else you're looking for a short holiday. Rooms are super clean, very well looked after. Staff is friendly and actually helpful, we had an issue with a temperature in our room, which was resolved effectively. We loved the hotel's vibe in general, it's very classy, old fashioned in a good way.

Only one thing comes to mind - breakfast selection is rather limited. We don't have any dietary restrictions, but still couldn't find satisfying option. Not terrible, but not the food you would enjoy. Good morning should start with a good cup of coffee :)

Its an older hotel, grand and well maintained. The breakfast was a real treat, all fresh, including eggs, chicken, and other meat(maybe 25+ choices). It really was a treat, by far one of the best hotel free breakfasts ever, once in Brazil 7 years ago was maybe nicer(I love freshly picked fruit), but this one was very special. We had a 6am flight so missed it our 4th day, but the desk clerk arranged a taxi at a good rate and even gave us a packed breakfast to take with us), at 3:00am it was extremely nice. Plus the fantastic coffee machine, free 24hrs in the lobby, I took a few extra mins to have "one for the road". Nice walking city, clean and friendly.... I felt very much at home, the wifi was great and everyone was extremely helpful. I would happily stay there again.

I usually have something Im not crazy about, but its Nov, so a bit cool. Its maybe a 10 min walk to the old town square, 5 would be better BUT a lot more money too....

Everything was excellent!! The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet neighborhood only 8 minutes on foot from the old town square. The atmosphere of the hotel is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff in the reception, Tom and Sofian were extremely friendly and helpful! The breakfast is very delicious and rich. It was great that there was an automatic machine near the reception that provided drinks all day. I recommend this hotel to everyone that is looking for a cozy, beautiful stay very close to the historical center of Prague.

There was nothing negative to mention

The hotel in the heart of the old town just a few steps from the square. I attach hereto the foto that is made from our room. The breakfasts were always fresh and reach. The hotel is also perfect for its clearness.

Great location to old square and Jewish quarter, fantastic cocktail bar joined onto the hotel also, Tom at check in was super friendly and so helpful and would take time to ask how your day was! Breakfast was plentiful along with a some fizz to start your day, also was nice grabbing a free coffee and sitting in the library area planning your day

There was a noise in the room but turned out it was in the hallway we did get someone to look at it as it was quite loud at the night but due to the building being old they thought it might be a heating issue, but they came and looked straight away, our room was quite small for two people but was a nice and clean room comfortable bed for after a day of exploring

Service: Absolutely brilliant. Friendly, welcoming, doing above and beyond what they have to. The most outstanding staff, bravo! Location: Couldn't be better. Walking distance to any important spot in the old city. Cleanliness: No complaints here, exactly as it should be. Comfort: Great beds. Pillows could be better. Design and decor: We loved the art nouveau style and the rich history of the hotel. A guest can feel there is true love and care put it.

Breakfast: All in all ok, selection on offer was not bad but quality and preparation basic. Especially the beverages could have been much better.

We stayed here for the New Year. Our family room was lovely. Tom the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. He recommended a day trip and made the reservation for us . He always had a friendly greeting when we left or came back to the hotel .The location was perfect, in a quiet area and a short walk from Old Town .The breakfast was lovely and had a great choice of hot and cold food and fresh fruit and cereal. Tea and coffee and water was available in the lobby anytime of the day . The room was tidied up and cleaned everyday. On New Year's Eve we received a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate the New Year. Thank you for making our stay a happy one . I would definitely come here again.

The location is in the center of Prague and you can easily reach everything from there, we've easily see everything that Prague have to offer only by walking. The staff was really helpful, the room really cozy and clean and the food was really good. Overall really nice location and perfect for a city break

It was a misunderstanding when we've check in, because of my similar name with other guess I've received the wrong room and need to change the room again after some time, but the issue was easily solved. Also I've requested a room on the upper floor which unfortunately we didn't receive but my guess is that the hotel was booked and that's why we received the room we've received.
