This was a pleasant surprise. We had thought (like all other places we stayed in during our D.R. visit) that there would be some things missing or not working. My wife and I were delighted by our stay in the Hampton in Boca Chica, near the airport. I felt like I was in Florida on several occasions during the visit. The room was superb and well-equipped, as well as spotlessly clean. The hotel had a new feel to it, and it may have been recently opened or renovated; I don’t know. The staff were more than helpful. One of them got the cook to make me a special Dominican breakfast (without my prompting him and something not on the menu or on display) and was a hoot. The hotel was full of customers, but you would never know that it was so crowded. The place was quiet with some gentle background music. Nice.

Staff was very friendly. Even a lady that got off work from the hotel helped us get gas for our rental. She told us to follow her, she lead us to the gas station and back. We really wanted to thank her with some money but she drove off after leading us back. Whoever that lady was "Thank you!" May you be blessed in many ways for going out your way. It was great location, close to the airport because we had to be in the airport for 3:30 in the morning.

Room was small. And we had kids in the next room banging on the walls, screaming and crying at 10:00 at night. I know it's not the hotels fault but the walls were just too thin.

Location is great. They offer a taxi service to go to the airport for $16. They offered to charge that to my credit card which is great because I didn’t have cash. Breakfast is delicious and with plenty of options.

I was trying to check out and get a taxi service and the receptionist was taking a phone call and didn't even say "wait a minute" or anything. He continued with his call (another man who was waiting for him also left) and minutes later I called someone behind a door and another man came out and helped me in the best way. Besides that, everything perfect.

The hotel was clean, the beds was comfortable, the food was good and it’s at a good location of being right by the airport when you stayed the night to fly the next day. The employees were good especially they speak both English and Spanish but they also showed good customer service.

My only complaint is the cost being expensive but I’m kind of a cheapskate and it’s totally understandable for the hotel being close by the airport. Also, the elevator going up where you put your keycard didn’t made sense as it took multiple tries to get it to work for me going up to my floor.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Good for a convenient place to stay near the airport. The staff were helpful. The wifi was good.

The breakfast is not the greatest. There are a number of choices but I found the food rather bland. I did have a good sandwich for dinner. Not much near this hotel.

Automatic coffee machine on breakfast was broken, no airport shuttle, somehow strange for this short distance. they do have an agreement with a taxi line but 16US for 2-1/2 miles. the neighborhood is not very nice, the street signage could be better, in fact I passed the Hotel once

Stuff was very nice specially guys from restaraunt very helpful and polite. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Rooms very clean and tidy.

Receptionist Mr. Calderon calling me "my friend". I used to work in a five star hotels and if you want to keep professional approach and leave good impression you dont call your guest "my friend". Thats the only minus all other things are perfect.

Very clean. Smelled nice, which is important! Comfortable bed. Staff was friendly.

Website said there was an airport shuttle. But no...you must pay $10 for a taxi to take you a very short distance. Not a deal breaker, but wish I knew ahead of time.

A good place for a night before early departure, less than 10 minutes from the airport terminal. Spotlessly clean, with all the facilities you´d expect from the brand.

No airport shuttle, need to take an overpriced taxi to get to/from the hotel. Lack of soundproof windows, outside noise can be an issue.

The staff was exceptional, the rooms immaculate and comfortable and the food quite good. A perfect location to stay at while positioning for a flight from SDQ. They have a taxi on-call 24 hours for airport transfers. Very good experience.

Not in a scenic or interesting location but convenient to the airport.
