Recently refurbished, redecorated and recarpeted, this hotel is fantastic! Spacious room, superb bathroom with walk-in glass sided shower cubicle that was equipped with a very good shower. With a comfortable bed and plenty of room for luggage, the room also has rudimentary tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was ok........ see below. Excellent parking on site in the gated car park. There are several places nearby for evening meals, as the hotel does not serve meals in the evening. I would recommend AVOIDING Courtepaille Grill.........

The only hot food on offer at breakfast was chopped up frankfurter sausages and baked beans. So the French think they know about food, huh????

I am happy to talk about Charles, the desk clerk who greeted us when we arrives and took a lot of time to make us aware of what Dijon could offer us in the few hours we would be in the city. He drew up maps, he suggested a restaurant, he told us of where to shop and see the sites. I am sure he had other things to attend to but he made us feel like we were a priority. Such a wonderful young man. He is the reason we enjoyed the city and one reason we are glad we stayed at the IHG hotel. WE enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Great hotel, we're a family of 4 with two small children we stopped over for 1 night on our way to Tignes. Completely secure gated car park which we really liked, arrived early hours, receptionist was lovely, quick check In, room was clean and comfortable. (Double with sofa bed) My daughter has milk allergy there was little for her to choose from at breakfast but we had brought her food with us anyway, otherwise a great selection for the rest of the family. Staff friendly and helpful, Booked again for our return journey and this will be the hotel we use for all future stop overs on our trips to tignes.

Our room was a good size, neat & tidy. The bed was comfortable. It was a hot day, but the aircon worked well enabling us to get a good night's sleep. The shower had good water pressure. We made good use of the hotel pool. A good breakfast was included. The reception staff were friendly & efficient getting us checked in & out quickly. The hotel has plenty of parking spaces.

The experience of staying at this motel, could be enhanced further by providing a fridge & a kettle in the room.

would’ve been better if we were able to add subtitles to tv as only French was available and all channels apart from the news were French, being able to screen smartphone to the tv would’ve been good as an alternative. seems to be just a stop off hotel to split up long journeys as there wasn’t anything to do in the area really, no-where to walk to etc, but that wasn’t a problem for us as we were there for a stop off and that was all.

Good clean comfortable room, you have to be impressed by any staff who can get black tiles in bathroom to shine all over. Good access and parking for disabled guest. Good selection of vending products and miscrowave available for anyone arriving late or wanting something in their room - not usual vending fare, but a good selection where there is no room service. Position is excellent - three restaurants just across the car park. We tried the grill which was good but nothing to write home about - just what you would expect from a chain. Good overnight stop or for a couple of days if you want to look round the area. Has a swimming pool (outdoor if you feel energetic)

Holiday Inn fine, for what you pay its good - suggest you drive and find alternative restaurants for dinner unless you want the same everywhere Burger King.

We stopped here on our way back from our summer holidays. Location was wonderful - just a few minutes off the motorway. There was free secure parking - a big bonus, rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff were lovely - huge shout out to Said - he went way beyond his call of duty - making the room comfortable and getting us access when we left our cards in the room...! We will definitely be back at this hotel at some time in the future. Thank you Said for making our trip extra pleasant !!

We were extremely pleasantly surprised about the comfort, rooms, cleanliness and friendliness at this hotel. We normally never ever stay at a 3-star hotel, as we’re a 5-star only family, but we couldn’t find any accommodation in or around Dijon for the life of us, as it turns out Dijon is a major through-town where everyone sleeps for 1 night on their way to a different country. Even the beds weren’t as uncomfortable as many of the other hotels we had stayed at during our multi country road trip. They had 2 pillows, which we didn’t get before in Italy where we previously stayed. Of course, sleeping in twin beds requires training so not to fall out right and left. Had never slept in a twin bed before in my life. ;-) The breakfast was simple, but totally fine, good French croissants, Swiss cheese, good ham, best yoghurts we’ve had in a while and strong coffee. Staff was very friendly, unlike what many travelers say about the French. There were 3 restaurants directly opposite and we got a 15% discount for staying at the Holiday Inn. However, the steakhouse was not really a steakhouse in the international sense. Yuck. Hotel is directly off the motorway, which is convenient. No noise in the room.

Unfortunately, no safe and no mini bar.

Absolutely perfect for comfortable short stay. Little pool, English language TV channels, bar facilities in lobby. Clean, comfortable room.

Was quite far from centre of town & public transport was not great. But perfect for people who are driving. The pool didn't open until 9am & on the second day it didn't open at all. I was hoping for swims before breakfast.

The location is great, just a tram ride away from Dijon centre. The staff were extremely helpful when our car broke down, especially Said who went out of his way to help translate our phone calls and arranged a room for an extra night at very short notice! He was the friendliest, most helpful hotel receptionist we have ever encountered!
