The hotel, though older, has renovated rooms and a reception area and now features a very modern style that is both clean and comfortable. The rooms are well-maintained, and the contemporary design adds a fresh touch to the overall ambiance. One of the best aspects of Hotel Astro is its value. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to stay with modern amenities and easy access to downtown Pasadena, Hotel Astro is an excellent choice. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit. It offers free parking at the site, no breakfast provided. Vending machines and Ice Machine at the site.

Our room was squeaky clean. Lots of room to spread out. Adorable decor. Linens were all relatively new & cute. Temperature control in the room was excellent. Easy in/out. I would stay again!

The shower soap only dispenses 1/8th teaspoon per squirt and after dozens of pumping I still only had a fraction of a teaspoon. There’s a constrictor that restricts the flow that cannot be removed. We stayed in the spring (May 20-22, 2024). All the summer bedding had been placed. The bedding consists of an ultra thin blanket and an even thinner polyester bedcover. I was quite cold both nights and ended sleeping in my sweater all night.

Everything was great! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything works really well! I was so happy with my stay, thank you!

There is just one small thing, which is that the cleaning product used in my room smelled really strong (or maybe it was an air freshener or something?). It just took some getting used to, but it was a bit distracting at first. Besides that everything was great and I'll stay again!

Our first room had a sewage issue with a perpetual smell, so when we asked to either fix or change the room during the 2nd night, we were able to change rooms by the next morning, which we appreciated! Location was great too.

The outside is definitely motel vibes, but the rooms itself look like a hotel inside - a bit misleading by the accomodation name with initial impressions but the interior was spectacular!

Modern updates were great, love the decor. It was also on a very quiet street, even after 11pm on a Saturday!

Everything was clean. I liked the design, and was a comfortable stay. Shower was very nice (could use more pressure). I would stay here a gain if I'm in the area.

Only thing that would have made the stay perfect for the situation. Please provide better smelling bar soap, and better shampoo & conditioner.

Loved the firm mattress, good- sized mini fridge and microwave, clean and spacious well lit bathroom, comfortable dining nook, very effective black-out curtains, spacious and well organized modular drawers and closet, free parking, and hotel locale.

The lighting was too bright and harsh- would benefit from warmer tone lighting, especially the bed-side lights. The soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower, while convenient, needed A LOT of pumps to get enough out to use. I should have brought more of my own. The room would also benefit from a full-length mirror.

Location was great, close to a lot of establishments. Staff was friendly and diligent, she addressed all our concerns with the room in a timely manner

Location is great! Friendly and accommodating staff. Asked for extra towels and received them promptly. Nice to come back to a clean room after being out.

There were no towel racks or hooks. Had to drape the towels over the shower door.

The bathroom is very modern, but the inside handle for the shower, at the bottom is very sharp and can cut your hand, this could be a libility issue.
