The location is fantastic, but during our stay the facilities were undergoing renovation which made navigating the premises a bit awkward. My travel companions enjoyed the breakfasts provided. The pool is nice, but the covered whirlpool probably needs a little attention. There is an outdoor children's play area that also could use some TLC. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the personnel were courteous and friendly, the greenery was lovely, and we both recommend it and look forward to another stay there.

There is a bird sanctuary of sorts beneath the restaurant that seemed more like an unkempt massive cage. Way too many birds and needed cleaning.

We love that it's right on the Jimenoa Waterfall. It's a very beautiful boutique hotel. My family and I enjoyed walking over the bridge across the falls and also walked the trails over the bridge. Dinners were delicious. The cocktail drinks were very potent. I could only have one cocktail at a time. We stayed room 218 and overlooked the waterfalls and entrance door to the garden. Very spacious room and beautiful. Everywhere was very clean. I could go on about this place. We were very happy here and sad to leave. I highly recommend it.

The garbage litter across the bridge that the water washed in. We thought they could get someone to pick it up so it would be clean like the rest of the grounds. The bathroom sink faucet is not the right one. It wets your clothes every time it's turned on. They need to put hand towels and face towels in bathrooms

Place very clean closer to a many restaurant, bar etc. Breakfast included excellent specially their restaurant is with river view.

Staff in the checking process i had issue with my reservation they wanted charge me additional cost due i added additional guest in advanced in a room was supposed be for 2 guest and in the begining was just one. I was tried to explain them if i have my room with 2 guest for the same price for the other with one why they going to charge additional in a room is for 2 occupancy. Final decision i was right but i need to spend my time there argument. Very dissapointed.

Overall this is a lovely place to stay. I ordered one meal, salmon and veg which was not cheap, but the salmon was dry and didn't taste good, like an old frozen filet I might have at home. Everything else was lovely, nice, peaceful and beautiful settings.

The views from any room are excellent. The setting is stunning and the restaurant/bar overlook the rapids on the river. The breakfast was not an English/Irish breakfast but a variety of individual items. The location of the hotel is hard to find from the main road.

The bathrooms are very outdated and pretty bad. Water everywhere from the shower because it has no curtain or screen. No hand towels are provided. Phone didn't work, no internet or heat. The Superior double room given to me as a solo traveller was literally half the size of the room for two people, had no place to sit, making it very uncomfortable. Breakfast was not as described and would have been better if served as a buffet. Signage could have been better for finding the hotel.

The location of the hotel is excelent. I really enjoy the stay with my family. I will go again.Breakfast was good and the drinks at the bar was excelent. With alcohol in!!!

The rooms that have pool view needs renovation.The rooms that have river view are really good. Also, we arrange through the receptionist, an excursion with buggies that went really bad. It's not a fault of the hotel but you have to check better the people that you are collaborating with. Propably he arrange us the excursion with a friend of his with no certifications, with no site, with no instagram, with nothing and he propably take a commition of that. Do not accept to arrange an excursion before you see reviews somewhere

the location, it is located directly at the river. and only a 20-30 min drive away from the waterfalls (there is no bridge currently so you can only visit one of the jimenoa falls - 30 min hike down ) and the coffee factory monte alto (Ramirez ) . the beds were super cozy, the food and drinks at the restaurant tasty. the staff very nice.

we had rooms with garden view and we heard a generator(?) very loud the entire day and night, also there was no mosquito net at the door so we couldn’t sleep with open balcony doors. for hot water we were told to let the water rinse for up to 8 minutes which is a lot of waste of water. the breakfast portions could be a bit bigger, as a vegan I found and received some options but for example for toast with avocado I would have had to pay extra although the avocado is part of another non vegan breakfast option.

The hotel and room were clean and staff friendly and helpful. The bathroom in my room was big and clean and the water pressure was great. Breakfast was free and it was great. On weekends it was buffet style and on weekdays it was à la carte. The staff at the restaurant were amazing.

The pool did not look clean. The lights in my room had issues, on and off, and there was not hot water the first day there. However the problem was fixed by the end of the day.

Room was big, comfortable and clean! The breakfast was the typical dominican breakfast which was great and lots! The location is a great get-away for anyone who is looking for peace and quiet.

The restaurant staff was outstanding. Front desk staff did their best, not all spoke English, but our Wooask app helped.

The WiFi was not existent. Caused me a little trouble because I needed to get something done for work but just let it go. Was surprised that the hotel promoted the excursions but I couldn't pay for them at the hotel with a card. Need CASH for excursions. Didn't have enough pesos but Tony parapente did accept USD. DOn't bother with the spa, completely weird experience and overpriced and didn't receive the service I asked for.
