We had a great time here! It’s a small and cozy hotel, beautiful building! The staff are super kind and the Location is perfect. Zona Colonial, pedestrian street just under with many gift shops, restaurants etc. A beautiful square just 4 corners away with musicians, pigeons and bars. There is a great laundry service 2 streets away - “Wash Wash”. and a tasty restaurant called “Le bohu”. Gracias.

Extra bed for kids could be better.

Great location, walking around the colonial area is easy from the hotel. The hotel is traditional, clean and picturesque. Staff were accommodating and allowed us to store our bags and use facilities after check out since we had a late flight.

Breakfast was mediocre, scrambled eggs, bread, fruit, some cereal selection and a cake. Some items had run out by the time we went (even though we went at 9.30am). Gym and sauna is closed. We booked a king room with a balcony however the 'balcony' was just part of the entrance way which was also for use for other guests.

I like the fact the hotel had a great location for us. We also loved the pool and the breakfast.

I did not like the fact that I asked an iron more than 3 times to the same person (a guy at the front desk) and only when I talked to this lady from Argentina, dont remember her name, I was able to get the iron I needed. I also asked the guy for some towels for the pool. This guy told me he was going to send someone to bring to us the towels to the pool and never did.

We have stayed here a few times and will stay again, it's a perfect location close to everything, staff are really nice and helpful and they do make an effort if children are with you to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, also parking is inside the Hotel which is a necessary as its hard to park around the area.

on this visit they gave us for the first time a street level room and the road was quite busy and noisy people walking around outside, also the shower took a long time to get hot we left it running for a long time to get hot water.

At the beginning we were concerned with the hotel and the outer area where the hotel is located, but once you are in the hotel you feel very safe. The hotel looked old when we arrived in the evening, but when you walk around the Colonial Zone, you understand why. The hotel is located in an area where there is alot of history so we were able to get a tour from Andre. Andre took us around the Colonial Zone and the chocolate factory where the children were able to make their own chocolate bars. The hotel is also located in an area where you can shop and get a sense of the culture. The children also enjoyed the pool. The cook provided us with an great inexpensive dinner.

The hotel service was not as good. The bartender took very long to make drink. The breakfast was not as great but fulling.

Old colonial architecture with cute plant filled alcoves and courtyards, Felt truly historical. My room had gigantic ceilings and felt old and awesome. the balcony was not very useful as it did not fit a chair and only looked out onto some ugly rooftops. I recommend getting an internal courtyard balcony instead., Excellent service and reception!

Pool closes quite early at 5pm which seems excessive, would have been excellent to swim in the early or late evening and there no rooms close by so I dont see any noise issues, The rooftop pool was one of the key reasons i booked, Room lighting, very harsh bright flourescent mini bulbs really destroyed the other wise awesome room ambience. All in all felt just a tad pricey, not over-priced but definitely not a deal.

It's a very unique property, so if you are looking for something different, not a ho-hum hotel, you will like it. It's quite lovely inside with all its nooks and crannies, lovely courtyard, artworks, and trees and plants. The apartment was really spacious, with a king bed and a jacuzzi tub.

The pool is really nice to have, but this area could be updated.

loved the colonial style property and it was right next to all the bars and restaurants staff were great, I liked that they had a car park in the hotel that’s essential so close to the walking street as it’s very popular

our stay included over the weekend and on Saturday night there was some woman arguing and shrieking for a while but that was a one off situation, not the hotels fault

Good and clean swimming pool. Big room. Very good location- very central, safe but calm at the same time. Room has everything necessary to satisfy hotel standards.

Need some refreshments and renovations. Not very helpful staff. Don’t provide drinking water. At night it’s not even possible to buy it. If you come late for breakfast, there’s nothing to eat.

I thought the front desk staff was helpful. Rocio Lopez was very nice. The maid service was good, hard workers. The pool was pleasant and the courtyard too. Breakfast was very good but they should enforce COVID protocols stronger with some guests who are ignoring it. Thought the location in the Zona Colonial near shops, food, ( National Supermarket) museums was great. Lots of time to sip on espresso and look at the sights! Thanks for a nice stay Hotel Palacio!

My first room the bed needed an upgrade. The mattress was not firm or new. So I changed rooms and it was a big improvement for not that much of a price increase. However I do feel no matter what room you pay for the bed should be good! I think the staff needs to enforce COVID Protocols more with guests coming from various countries. Some were not wearing masks when they should have.
