Property was clean. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The check in video booth was abysmal. Absolutely hated it. Hard to understand the guy on the other side of the screen. Very impersonal. Would not recommend this hotel on that basis alone.

Check in. You don’t get to talk to a human. You have to talk to a screen. It’s a 24 hour front desk manned by a person in a different country.

One exit east of down town Davis, Easy access, was perfect location for my needs. The Gym is excellent

Wi-Fi was problematic. service was disconnected many times and slow even when connected. Seems the staff knew about the issue because every time I complained they responded by "OK, I will re-set the system" suggesting they knew exactly what I was complaining about.

The breakfast was not what I need - too much sugar and not enough protein (only yogurt). Asking for a room in the back prevented me from hearing freeway noise. Room and bathroom were very spacious. Blanket was too thin. I had no idea there was no housekeeping service unless you stayed more than 3 nights!! I understand that's something new in the hotel industry now but I didn't know about it. I wasn't informed of this as I should have been when I checked in. The woman on duty my second night was very nice and brought me another blanket plus fresh towels. I didn't need a space to park a car after all.

This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations! Very low rate for a junior king suite with lots of room, pull out couch, desk, microwave, mini fridge, free breakfast, complementary water & coffee, free parking, and very easy check in and check out! Our trip went smoothly and was very enjoyable, I will definitely be staying here again during my next Davis trip.

The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the AC worked well. The shower had great water pressure too.

Checking out was awkward. The door to the lobby was locked with no signage or information. No one was at the desk and we had to wait outside at 3:30 in the morning until a staff member opened the door for us. The hotel is also more remote than I expected, so food deliveries and getting to Sacramento were a bit harder than I thought.

Friendly front desk. He apologized that the oil would not be open, contrary to the booking detail. Nice room, large, open beamed ceiling, very comfortable bed.

We had counted on the pool being open as it said it would be on April 29th. I felt like major bonus in choosing this hotel had been taken away. I also didn't like that the friendly friend desk was being replaced by a machine. Supposedly they are would be somebody in some country that I can speak to on that machines screen, but I don't know how that would help me if I had lost my room key I had some other problem that actually required the assistance of a person. Or apologize that the expect pool wouldn't be available. Makes me very hesitant about looking again at Days Inn.

Secure, modern, clean, quiet, inexpensive, smooth unusual checkin process with virtual receptionist, Christian from Bogota Columbia was very sweet and efficient. Never been to an “unmanned” hotel before. Great hotel experience.

Shower was small, but plenty of room otherwise.

The room was exceptionally clean. What I appreciated is that the desk staff accommodated me by using a keyboard to communicate with me on the screen, instead of speaking to me. They also allowed me to check in early and upgraded my room to a king suite from a regular room, since the latter wasn't ready.

It's not a case of dislike, but I was not expecting to use a screen to check-in with remote staff. Maybe I didn't read everything carefully in advance, so I was just surprised when I entered the lobby.

Everything was spot on room and bathroom were clean, pool and gym was clean, the gym even had a additional pool for laps! Staff was very friendly and helpful

the only thing that was off was the view but this hotel is not in the heart of the city its more secluded and quiet honestly in Davis it was nice being away from the nosey collage kids you would have to deal with in the night

The pool was great. The breakfast was decent. The common areas were cute and nice. The cleaning staff were very friendly.

It was a bummer that there wasn’t a front desk person. Instead there was a computer screen you had to talk to. The computer screen didn’t work when I needed it so we had to wait. I also wish there were more than just two pillows per bed.
