The hotel is located in Main Street, close to the hospital (Texas medical center) and to the Rice University (which is the reason why I chose it). I travelled together with a colleague and the room was quite comfortable for two people, since we had two king-size beds. The bathroom also was functional and we were given plenty of towels and soap. The air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was just fine, I think there were not so many options but still it was enough for us. The hotel offered a free wifi connection, so we didn't need any code to log in.

Maybe a wider selection for breakfast (I would have liked a croissant, for example). Since we stayed only one night, however, it wasn't a problem.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Right there by MD Anderson. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was as good as any other Hotels breakfast. Their shuttle service was a life saver and Chris the shuttle driver was very nice and extremely helpful. Looks like we will be in Houston every three months so we will be back!

The beds were comfortable, but they could use a memory foam topper on them. Only the ice machine on the 2 nd floor worked. We were on the 6th floor.

Comfortable beds, pillows, and great cable. Location is the best as always is right in the center of what we came for. Being on the 5th floor was great! Great views.

The second elevator wasn't working. The breakfast could have more options. Also the doors downstairs are left unlocked. Anybody can walk right in the lobby area, there are card readers at the doors but are not working. Didn't see the security guard on duty this time, not sure if they still have security services. Also the parking area can be cleaned up, and trash cans are not kept up. Saw broken glass in the parking area. The rug towards the exit is bent edge and my wife almost tripped that can be a liability. Love this place but it does need a manager addressing these issues and staying on them.

The room was clean, quiet and the AC was cold. The shuttle service to medical appointments is super convenient. There is always parking available and checkout is late enough that if you have early medical appointments you can make it back to the room to freshen up before you go.

The front desk staff was kind of a downfall. Also be aware that there is no on-site dining. There is a restaurant in the hotel next door and there are a couple of excellent restaurants who deliver.

The rooms and linens were changed daily and staff were attentive to our needs. Location proximity to the medical center and shuttle services to appointments is excellent. All of the staff responsible for providing breakfast did a nice job and made everyone feel important. This is so important because many are there for medical appointments. I appreciated the air purifiers and staff who cleaned the most.

I was a little distressed to hear smoke detectors going off all night long. Apparently, the batteries were all changed on the same day and they all decided to go off around bedtime. No one changed the batteries in the 2 days after I reported it. Due to this, I did not feel like we could stay there an additional week. I'm sorry to write a negative remark because we've stayed there many times and were cared for well. However, this was not safe.

The parking feelt secure,the building was very clean,the pool area was nice, the room and restroom and shower was very clean, AC and TV worked great.the beding and furniture was very clean and comfortable.Awasome job

The greeting needs to be a little more welcoming and name tags on greeters and name & number on card key to have it on hand who checked us in.The jacuzzi wasn't working and they said it hasn't been working for a long while and the pool is always cold.

The location for one because it's right across the street from Texas Childrens Hospital, which is our reason for traveling to Houston. Also, the breakfast has improved so much. We now eat there instead of having to order take-out. Aside from that, the staff has always been so great with us.

We ended up needing a crib/playpen for my baby and it wasn't available our first night because another family was using it. I thought they had extras on hand, but I guess not. Thankfully, they did bring it over our 2nd day, when the other family checked out.

My second stay here - Staff are consistent, super polite, professional and happy/willing to help. I came a tad earlier, and the front desk was able to help me out, they accept both card and cash, which is great for international visitors. Breakfast was quite a comprehensive spread, everything served was fresh, and appreciated all the various options. Loved how big and spacious the breakfast area was! Location’s great - right next to the medical center - there are good options, Starbucks, banks/ATMS, etc. nearby. Easy to get Downtown too. Room was comfy - Tele had a good selection of channels, microwave and fridge worked well and came in handy.

Bathroom could be a little bigger :)

Our toilet wasn't working. They offered to move us to another room but as we were going out we opted to stay. It was repaired on our return. All staff is very friendly and helpful.

The price and how much it fluctuates from day to day and week to week. We stay there because of having treatment at MD Anderson. Everytime I try to book the rooms are always a different price. Would prefer more consistency.

Good solid hotel for the price. Staff was helpful and our room was a suite and was nice. Garage is in the basement which was convenient. Washer/dryer room on first floor.

No elevator to the basement garage. Breakfast was minimal.
