We appreciated everything! The hotel is very well maintained, with one of the most helpful and polite personnel we have encountered throughout our trips. The beach is just accross the hotel, very well organized, towels available every day, with safety measures applied around the clock (access only to hotel clients, lifeguard). The room was very clean and comfy with very helpful and polite room service staff. The front desk of the hotel was extraordinary in meeting our needs, even for private demands beyond the hotel's services. The hotel is very well situated, about 10 minutes drive to the center of Catania, and a few meters away from the bus stop to town. Breakfast by the pool was lovely! Also supervided by lifeguards!

The service at the restaurant of the hotel was sometimes slower than expected for the standards of such an establishment.

I was surprised to see the photos on booking.com and reviews to exceed our expectations. Although Sicily may not be the place to rely purely on your English, staff were amazing from the reception, through the restaurant to super kind and amazing ladies who cleaned our room. I very much appreciate attention to our childern, but although there was a team building party in the meeting rooms (business area), there was no distruction to the guests. Hotel was clean, so were the rooms, hecnec I wondered about the negative reviews I read before booking. Hotel beach was super tidy and the life guards really paid attention to the guests. I was worried crossing the road to get to the beach with my little one, but traffic lights had a button to switch to green for the pedestrians and the beach was a few steps away, unilke the google map and photos suggested. Daniel who worked at the bar made the cocktail time for the kids feel like out of the fairytail, incuding the arrangement of eadible flowers in their virgin mochitos and kids loved him 😇There was a lovely Trattoria right by the beach and thanks to wonderful Roberto who spoke fluent English it was super welcoming even for those who only speak a few words in Italian. Will definitely visit again. Thank you the NH team for maling a wonderful memories for us ❤️

Beautiful building, by the beach. Nice relaxed vibe in the hotel with a pleasant garden and pool area.

The surrounding area is very dilapidated. Abandoned buildings, messy beach, roadwork signs all along the street. It's several kilometres away from the centre of Catania, so you need to drive through the industrial area to get to the centre. Hopefully the area will improve as tourism recovers.

The pool and the beach access. The staff went above and beyond. The foyer is super clean and has great seating areas. Too bad the bar was only available by the pool, it would have been great to drink a cocktail indoors. So, if your plan is to remain within the area, you can enjoy the access to the beach or just take a break from the sand and enjoy the really nice pool. The staff from the restaurant was amazing and having drinks by the pool was great. If you hop on a Lime scooter that you can easily find parked outside the hotel area you can reach the city centre in less than 20 minutes and pay less that 5 euros instead of spending money on taxis.

Despite the great staff we encountered, the room was not cleaned up when it was given to us. Everything the former guests left behind was still there. This was definitely gross BUT, it was certainly a cleaning staff snafu. The food in the hotel was definitely overpriced, I would have not mind paying such prices if the food had a little bit more quality. Prices were similar to a famous fancy beach in central Italy.

good place for a one nighter. hotel facilities and breakfast were great. One of the people in our party had to take a work meeting and that was easily accommodated. Staff were super helpful and relaxed.

Location - the beach in front of the hotel and surroundings is absolutely abandoned and full of trash. That seems to be the case with many areas across town, it was sad to see - the area looked dilapidated. Perhaps nothing that the resort could control, so we liked to stay within the confort of the hotel.

I always make it a point to stay at the NH. I admit it might not be ideal for people to go out for walks at night as the road is dimly lit and a car is advisable. But the hotel is so comfortable that it's comfortable to stay inside and relax.

The parking charge. This is a new 'hidden' charge and I feel it should be absorbed in the room price for residents. If retained it should be charged based on the time in and time out, and not on days where you still have to check in. Check-in is after three but you are charged for a whole day parking. I suggest that this is revised.

The room was well equipped and had a nice balcony to the garden. The staff was really friendly and the bar also nice.

The beach was very dirty.

the staff were lovely, also a very good breakfast, the front of house in general is lovely. I like having your own private beach as well, would be good to maybe have more options other than cold drinks at it though.

Once you walk behind reception it's down hill from there. The corridor carpets are so dirty, the room had a smell to it like someone had been smoking in it and just didn't feel clean, dirty marks on the wall etc. They need refurbished.

Staff: very friendly and helpful. Lobby and bar: bright and well decorated. Room: modern, comfortable and quiet, with quiet AC. Breakfast and dinner: excellent, with gluten free options. Parking: on-site, safe and easy for 5euro/day. Pool area: well done. Easy location for Ubers. Central location near Catania Airport was perfect for “come and go” day touring to Catania or other cities on the coast, heading north or south.

This hotel is not a resort where you would go and lounge by the pool or on the beach. It’s an excellent “staging” hotel, not a “staying in” resort. Area outside the hotel property could be cleaner and tidier.

The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly and kind. They have good free coffee in the morning, the bed and room were incredibly comfortable, the beach is across the street, clean and not too crowded. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, both ways. honestly this hotel exceeded our expectations, it is a bit older but very well maintained.
