Very good breakfast, large choice of food. Quiet soft floor in rooms and in the corridor, spacy room with an armchair, a chair and a desk. Room and entire hotel clean. Hotel just in front of the main bus station (2 min.), in a close walking distance to the downtown, town bus stop and the promenade along the river. Big maul very close with many shops and a good bookstore.

Some noise from the street in the evening, the window was not totally noise-proof. Wifi could be faster, but for just checking emails it was ok.

The hotel is in an ideal location - across the street from Ahha center and Aura Aqua Park. The room is small, but has everything you need. It is a pity that there was no kettle and some cup and glasses in the room. Comfortable beds. The room was next to the door on the stairs and there was a noise from the door slamming, but nothing tragic. Breakfast with a relatively decent selection, as everywhere - eggs, bacon, pancakes, kelloggs, etc. Free parking at the hotel. The hotel is worth choosing because of its excellent location.

Excellent customer service. Be it Annabelle who was able to find an alternate room on short notice. As well as Kristina, who was able to get a bottle that I had forgotten during a room change. P.S. Certain rooms do not have refrigerators. Incase you require one, it might be a good idea to mention it at the time of the booking as part of the room requests. (Subject to Availability).

The bathroom layout could be better. Given that when you take a bath the floor tends outside the bathing area. They are very particular about Breakfast timings and usually clear the buffet as soon as the time is up. Perhaps this was due to the event that was happening at the time.

Breakfast was excellent, the room was comfortable and very quiet, the SPA area was great and the parking was OK even if it was sometimes difficult to park because there were not enough parking spots for all the hotel guests. On top of that, the localisation was perfect. City rental bikes could be found close to the hotel, but even going downtown on foot was easy to do : indeed, it was only 10 minutes away !!! It was a perfect hotel for us...

We enjoyed everything - cleanliness, size and organisation of room, location, great staff, super fast communication, sauna, breakfast etc. Basically everything was perfect! Super fast and precise communication before and during our stay and staff helped with our special requests! Sauna is pretty comfortable- wide and also has 2 jacuzzis and 3 different saunas. Parking is free for hotel guests (but not guaranteed). location awesome - few steps away AHHAA centre, shopping malls, restaurants, cinema, fuel station etc. usually we stayed in a hotel across the street in Tartu, but after visiting Hotel Tartu - all our next trips to Tartu will be only in this hotel. Experience worth every penny! even our 3 year old kid liked everything about this hotel and stay there. Hotel is clean, looks fresh, nice views from windows (at least our was).

During our trip home we discussed our experince and first thought was to give rating 9/10, but we really didn’t find anything why we would give 9 instead of 10. so in the end it was our opinion made together - 10/10 hotel! nothing to complain about!

The parking was convenient, the staff very helpful and pleasant, and the location was great. It is located near the river, close to shopping malls, and the university. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go and didn't have to take the car. The rooms were nice and clean, as well the entire property was clean.

the times for using the sauna were a little confusing, you have to be there 30 minutes before closing to enter, so we missed out on using that perk of the facility.

Perfect central location, free parking, spacious room, comfortable bed, good shower. Lovely spa area with 2 jacuzzis and several good saunas, recommend renting bathrobes for extra comfort (but must take your bath slippers). I couldn't have breakfast due to upcoming surgery, but they offered and gave a packed breakfast to-go instead - that was really nice!

Overall a nice and quiet stay but as a coincidence there was a family with loud children in the spa area during our visit. Having left own child at home, would have appreciated some more relaxing atmosphere. Perhaps some time ranges to be considered by the management, just a thought :)

three of us took a short Estonia tour Pärnu - Paldiski - Tallinn - Tartu to celebrate New Year's Eve in Tallinn and see some places we had not been to. the Tartu night thanks to the Hotel Tartu was by far the best and I can honestly admit everything was just great - from staff to facilities, including trouble-free parking, really great breakfast, clean, quiet and large room, kind-size bed and just the right kind of matress, warm, lovely and cosy. good wifi connection and even a number of German TV channels. and above all I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of in-house gym that was complimentary for hotel guests; the equipment was brand new, the gym was tidy, well looked after and featuring everything one could wish for. thanks for the good job, Hotel Tartu ❤️

totally didn't like the fact I had to check out, would have loved to stay another night

The room was very comfy and clean, perfect for a good night's sleep. The location was fantastic, right in front of where the bus from Tallinn stopped and walking distance to the centre. Staff very friendly, even kept our luggage after checkout for a few hours.

The breakfast was quite mediocre. The shower facilities, one of those where the water goes everywhere from the shower as there is no bath or shower or basin on the floor, was not ideal.

Morning sauna option, that was included in the price was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable. There was a safety deposit box in the room.

Maybe too few parking spots for such a big hotel, although we got a parking spot when arriving half an hour before check-in time. Mini fridge would have been nice, now there was no fridge. Also, extra pillows would have been nice. But all in all, we were very satisfied.
