Location was pretty central was not really that far to walk to most places in torshavn bus station about 10mins from hotel yoy check inn online and download the app and you get your key code sent to you so you cant go straight to your room and can check out without going to the desk by putting a sign on the door saying you have left just a usual continental breakfast scrambled eggs bacon hard boiled eggs bread meat and cheese.

The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillow was waver thin. My room was next to the music venue, and it could be heard, but it was not overly loud, so you could still get to sleep.

Very spacious room (double room with sea view). Receptionist available from 10am to 8pm so no self check-in is required during those hours. House keeping do a great job when room is cleaned. Had fridge in room!

Breakfast is limited and not varied. We spent 7 nights there Very limited storage space in the room (no wardrobe) Only one person to handle breakfast service. Had to wait 15 minutes for coffee mugs. Poor girl works hard but cannot cope with the demand especially after 8am You need to book housekeeping otherwise room is not cleaned. Housekeeping needs to be done daily without calling. On the positve side...., they do an awesome job!

For a small room it didn’t feel cramped if that makes sense. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast included was a nice benefit - simple but effective offering. Kettle rather than coffee maker, and a nice variety of teas.

The Scandinavian habit of the bathroom all being one level of floor meant it got a bit wet, as the shower was incredibly narrow. Tiny sink was an issue for me, I was there a week & had to do some laundry. No laundromats in town. Thankfully a staff member was kind enough to loan me a metal container used for dishes in the restaurant. I appreciate their ingenuity. If you’re staying as long as I did get a bigger room or consider an Airbnb or equivalent

The hotel is in a great location. Close to the harbour, supermarkets, cafes. There is an excellent Asian restaurant on level 1, and the same place breakfast is served daily. The staff were excellent, and the room was fine. The breakfast is included, and as the Faroes are very expensive, it was great to have a lovely breakfast included in the price of the room. Overall, this hotel was a good price for the location and for the service. I'd definitely stay there again.

Hotel is a little dated, but it's an older style hotel. Nothing else, really stood out as an issue.

Comfortable, up-to-date room, good wifi. Location is at the center of the city, close to restaurants, sights, and transport; there are also a restaurant and a bar on site.

Self check-in didn't work for me, but fortunately there was staff available by phone. This means it would probably be impossible to leave bags before or after check-in. Bathroom had one of those Scandinavian showers that's just a corner of the room, so it's hard not to make a mess with the water.

You can't beat Hotel Torshavn for location -- city center, right on harbor across street from the cathedral. All the major sights in the center are steps away. Food, from free breakfast to dinner at in-house restaurant, very tasty. My single room was cozy, and bathroom commodious (ha). Not the most hyper-modern place but pretty much up to standards or exceeding them. A solid choice at a great price.

Reception staff could be around more when you come in and out, for questions...

Easy access from check in and daily access to room all non manual. No fuss. Room cleaned when asked for. Very central. Breakfast plentiful a big plus as eating out is eye wateringly expensive. Restaurant in Hotel good value for money relative to location

The breakfast was poor, in terms of choice and quality,

- location - right at the centre near the marina. A++ - breakfast - starts at 7am. Small but everything was good. - room was small, but it served me well. - had black out curtains for the ling summer nights. - arrived early and was allowed to leave my luggage at the reception.

Since the hotel is located right by the harbour, many places in Tórshavn were accessible on foot (for example SMS shopping centre, Tórshavn Info Centre).

The bed in my room was smaller than any other hotel bed I’ve slept in.
