Beautiful view of the frozen shore. The villas were warm, cozy, romantic and very clean. Also the reception people were nice and let us check in early. The restaurant attached is also exceptional.

You only have 13 minuites of hot water before it runs out and the heater in the cabin needs an hour or so to warm it again. I'd sympathise if this was a secluded cabin in the woods, but it is not. They are attached to a large tourist complex in the middle of town. For over 300 euros a night, I expect more.

The location was good, the property overlooking a lake, frozen during winter time, just 10 minute walk from the city center.

The shower in my room was a little uncomfortable because the water goes out.

The structural originality of the villas, the independence of each villa from the others, the cleanliness of everything inside. More generally, the views out over the water and straight up to the sky.

(1) The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly. (2) The shower pan was angled away from the drain and towards the front of the shower, and the shower wall didn’t meet the floor, with the result that every shower caused a flood in the bathroom. This is a known problem — a squeegee is provided for you to mop up the mess. 3) There’s a sign in the bathroom announcing that you get only 13 minutes of hot water per hour, a limitation that doesn’t appear in the Booking description. This means that showers and kitchen cleaning have to be carefully programmed, which is a bore, a killer of romance, and a jarring contrast to the property’s marketing as a hotel that approaches luxury status.

The breakfast and the dinner were very nice.

The room is not at the seaside so the view is ok. In winter you couldn’t see much outside anyway, maybe it’s a better place to stay in summer. The glass roof is ok, just like the conservatory at home, not as exciting as I thought. The snow castle was not ready to view. Not much going on at Kemi. I booked it because of the icebreaker cruise, which is a trip worth taking.

The cabins really ARE located right by the water with a beatiful view! We had booked a cabin in the first row and did not regret it; our three nights were quite expensive but worth the price: Not only two of the sides of the cabins, but also the roofs are made of glass! It is possible to darken everything if you need darkness to sleep, but we were thrilled to be able to lie on the bed and look up at the summer sky, which at those latitudes is almost as bright at night as during the day. The cabins are clearly built for winter use, so there are no outdoor seating options around the cabin, and the windows cannot be opened - a bit strange when staying there in the summer... But we got used to it, and the cabins are equipped with well-functioning air conditioning.

- It is possible to drive right up to the cabins to load/unload, but it is not allowed to park there. - The breakfast restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, and the food was good - but it is the same menu for both (3 starters, 4 main courses and 3 desserts) day after day - not much variety... So we appreciated the possibility to cook for ourselves in the kitchenette at the cabin.

Exceptional view, service is good, all people there are nice and helpful. a public playground just next to the hotel area which is good for family with kids, and can do different outdoor activities on the frozen sea in the winter.

The floor heat makes the room smell a bit “plastic”, the wood floor outdoor is slippery after rains/ snow, and guests can only take 15mins hot shower in total otherwise needs to wait another hour to reheat the water (but it is good for water saving :) and the shower floor hv water leakage problem make the half of the bathroom wet but the bathroom is spacious so it doesn’t affected us much

Breakfast was fairly good. We were lucky to see the northern lights from our own room. It was an amazing night under the aurora. We booked also Sampo experience (Icebreaker). It provides convenience when and if you book for other 365 experince activities.

Beautiful view even when it's cloudy or dark. Great Great breakfast , but be careful they sometimes do not serve it on Sundays 😱😱 ! So double check with them first because for the price you can not get a lunch bag for breakfast . Snow castle included ,but this year it's not open so they only have a small indoor one . Funny but for 10mn Max. Of course the glass villa concept

Kemi town is really a small and sad town . Everything closes early. Arrange your dinner first thing ! Privacy is hard to deal when you live in a glass villa 😂! That's why the seaview rooms are more expensive, maybe too much but at least you are preserved . Of course the price. Almost 300€/night....

the concept of glass roofed villa is very nice. we were 2adults and two kids. there is small sauna in the cabin, so kids really enjoyed it :) i'd say it is great for one night experience, as in general the "villa" is quite small and for family you would need more space. also I would reccomend to stay in the waterfront villa, but bigger, family villas are only in the third row. the location in the city is also quite good - 15min walk to the very center.

in general everything is ok, just if you do not see the northern ligths through the glass roof, then it is a bit pricey :)
