Staff is so courteous and accommodating. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The view was beautiful. The lighting and heating was very good. Hot water was wonderful

Room 115 needs a new hot tub. It was "fixed" with paint which is chipping away. At least we were able to change rooms. Also, it looks like you need new towels because the ones we had were stained with yellow spots and felt like I was wiping bleech on my face. The bedsheets were clean but stiff, either need more softener or a higher thread count

We liked the general design of the hotel. It was attractive. It was located off of a main street. It had water flowing behind the hotel. We ate our breakfast outside by this little body of water. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and a super nice guy.

I think the white light bulbs make the atmosphere in the room seem like you are in a hospital or factery. There were however two bulbs that cast a yellow (very nice in my opinion) hue. One in the main room and one in the toilet area. Best western is not alone in this issue. I don't understand how the people who make this decision can't see how harsh the white light bulbs are.

Comfortable hotel with a large room by the river. The breakfast bar was better than average for chain hotels, both quality of the food and the breakfast room was pleasant, with an outdoor terrace along the river. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Not much to complain about really, the pillows were a bit small and there was a bit of road noise.

They waived the early checkin fee, and helped us figure out why the TV remote did not work. It was nice seeing the stream outside the window, and the breakfast room was nice and except for a dirty waffle maker, it was the best breakfast in a week of travel.

The exterior needed a bit of repair, and nothing was within walking distance of the place.

Great location. Not far from Vassar—where I needed to be. Quiet, with lovely view from patio.

Water pressure and shower head not the best. Breakfast was a bit disappointing: eggs were crumbly, bagels tiny with no plain, store wrapped pastries. Nespresso machine was set to 16 ounces, but cups were only 8.

It was a nice room, with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. Breakfast was served in a nice location, and tasted fairly good! There were no noise complaints either, so overall I enjoyed my stay

While there were some restaurants nearby, there was no sidewalks, meaning in order to get food I would either have to walk along a dangerous road or order something to be delivered.

First - THERE IS FREE PARKING AT THIS HOTEL. We noticed that error when we were booking and saw that it had been addressed in the question section. But it would have been unfortunate to miss it, since our initial search used the filter of Free Parking and missed this one. I mentioned it to the hotel staff and they say that they’ve tried to fix it with Booking. This is a nice little suburban hotel located on an attractive neighborhood. Hotel has a lot of character - loved having breakfast outside overlooking the stream. We used it as a base to explore the Poughkeepsie area and enjoyed seeing the neighborhoods on the way downtown. The hotel shows some age but the room was huge by most standards.

The breakfast was a bit barebones but worked fine for us: eggs, toast, and yogurt. There was a fire alarm beeping in a nearby vacant room and the staff took care of it immediately. Thanks!

The stream near the hotel where you can sit out on the veranda was very calming and relaxing. The breakfast offered was good and free. Close to gas stations and stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My cell phone wasn't working 😕 due to the location. I believe because we were in the mountains

This hotel is a good value. My two-queen room was modern, large, and very comfortable. The location overlooking the stream and former mill pond is tranquil, and one can enjoy the breakfast on an outdoor patio listening to the water and watching the birds. For folks who want to ride the Dutchess rail trail bike path, access is quite close--you can start from the hotel.

There was a [probably temporary] salt problem with the hotel tap water, so you might need bottled drinking water if you are medically sensitive.

The breakfast was excellent & the location by the falls was fantastic. Our room overlooked the water, which was a total joy to us!

You could not help it that there was a snake outside the entrance door when we arrived! A staff member helped us by kicking it away.
