Very nice and comfortable airport hotel. I wanted to stay close by since I had a very early flight the next morning. I generally try not to stay in airport hotels while on vacation, but made sense in this case. The hotel had more amenities than I expected it would have, including a nicely appointed gym and a pool and some kind of court outside, though it was too soon in the season to avail myself of them. Bar was fine with even a little happy hour. Food was good. though there was a large company meeting of some sort that took up most of the tables in the room, so unusually loud and many folks had to eat dinner in the bar area. In any case, I would stay there again.

The only thing I did not like, which was clearly beyond my control, was the dominance of the company’s on site meeting that took up most of the space in the restaurant. Inconvenient for other guests, for sure. But food was unexpectedly high quality for an airport hotel, for sure.

The restaurant is very good, much better than what one would expect in an airport hotel restaurant.

It was difficult to find the place where the shuttle would pick us up. The hotel tried to tell us, but it still wasn't perfectly clear. Luckily, we were in the right place. This is not totally the hotel's fault. The signage at the airport is very bad, and no one seems to want to help.

The woman at the front desk was great. I think her name was Vanessa. She spoke English and German I think. Very customer oriented and pleasant. Great shuttle service. Wish we knew about the beaches. We could have stayed longer to visit. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food and service was good. The best thing about the rooms was the bathroom. Really spacious, clean and modern.

The curtains were yellow and could be changed. It would spruce up the room. Also the aircon in the hallways was not on making it stuffy.

The staff was incredible! From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional service. We appreciate that they were able to block our rooms together since we were traveling as a family. We loved the balcony view of the pool. It was beautiful at night and sunrise. We highly recommend the breakfast buffet. The entire staff was exceptional there. We also recommend the restaurant for dinner - lots of options, great food, and pricing is very reasonable. The hotel is very close to the airport and also reasonably close to tourist locations if you want to rent a car. The front desk gave us very good advice regarding parking options and public transportation options in Rome, because we chose to travel by car to see neighboring tourist locations. We are so grateful to team for such a positive experience. This was a very special family vacation.

the location is perfect for airport overnight or longer. Rooms very nice. Restaurant food outstanding. Customer service is amazing. Very clean, very quiet, pool looked inviting, but it was raining so no swimming for us. Breakfast included was very good. Shuttle service to and from airport super well co-ordinated by staff. Recommend this place for sure.

did not get to enjoy all facilities as to short of a stay. They allow smoking outside right by the gardens, and front entrance. It is awful as a non smoker to have to walk through smoke infested air or even have it come in the front doors. I would suggest they create a "smoking area" away from where the public entrances are.

The room, the location, and the professionalism of the staff were laudable. The pool and surrounding lawn afforded a much needed respite from the hustle and bustle...

The shuttle bus service was difficult to find at Fiumicino airport. The payment method was cumbersome. The menu choices in the restaurant were limited and seemed to cater (as other airport hotels do) to the tastes of US tourists. Lastly, as guests leave Reception to go to their rooms, they need to haul their luggage up a number of steps to access the elevators. Hopefully, improvements can be made in some of these areas.

It was perfect for just one night's stay if you have an early flight out or are only in Rome for a layover - literally less than 10 minutes from the airport with a SUPER cheap shuttle, I did a lot of research on other hotels nearby and the shuttles could cost more like 20 euros per way, this one was only 6 each way. I ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and it was pretty good! I really liked the bathrooms. And SOLID air conditioning in my room.

Definitely in the middle of nowhere so if you're looking for activities to do, there isn't really anything. But I wasn't using it as a home base for Rome, just a place to stay before an early flight!

The hotel has a bar and a restaurant inside the building, which is very convenient. The staff was very kind and always willing to help.

Wifi was not working inside my room, which was unpleasant since it was difficult for me to work and have teleconf meetings (I stayed for 2 nights). I complained at the reception desk, but the problem was not solved. The wifi signal was Ok in the corridor but not in my room, so I suspect I was far from the router. In any case, this is something that should be taken care of in this kind of hotel.

Mercure was a nice hotel close to the airport with friendly and helpful staff and close to the airport. Our rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. The free breakfast was nice and spacious and well-maintained. Though we were not able to use it, the pool was large and looked nice.

Though they do offer a shuttle service, but it is not free. it was 6 euros per person and for our family of four, we were able to get a private taxi for 25 euros. The rooms look like they have been upgraded with new carpet and bedding, but the rest of the room you could tell was a little old and patched up.

I stay there only 8 hours before my flight. They arrange a taxi in the morning.

On the hotel site, it said that there is a shuttle, but it is only between 5-21, and most of the day once an hour, at a cost of 6 Eoru per person. So I took a taxi which cost 20 Euro each way, which for me looks a bit high price for 5 minutes drive.
