The location could not be better, overlooking the cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum. Room is small but comfortable, with private bathroom immediately across the hall. Free parking is indeed available but the large lot can be close to full, and it's a brisk 500 m uphill walk back to the room. You should be aware the listing offers a bedroom and bathroom and that's what you get. We paid 56€ for 2 people, no breakfast, in mid-March Although it's an expansive penthouse, there are no common areas open to guests. Breakfast is served in a nice room but we didn't opt for it. We booked at the last minute and the owner was occupied, so she sent us away for a few hours until she was ready for us. Being allowed to wait in a common area would have made this a trivial inconvenience but we had to occupy ourselves elsewhere.

You can't find a room closer to the middle of town than this one. It's a home stay (not a hotel) with a nice couple. The room looks directly out to the chevet of the Albi cathedral. No TV to distract you. Good internet connection (that's turned off late each night till the next morning). Breakfast is served on delicate china in their rooftop atrium. Nice cafe just outside the building's door. (Kitchen closes at 3pm so be sure to order everything by 2:30) Hosts were very kind and spoke a little english. There is free city parking, about a five minute walk, in the Cathedral parking lot (lower levels). If you can't find a free space, take a paid space in the upper levels until one of the free ones opens up.

I had a hard time finding the place (and the parking) when I arrived. Since it's not a hotel, there is no hotel sign. You must look for a door with the house number 5, then ring the intercom for M. Elvire who will come down to meet you.

We had a very nice breakfast on the balcony overlooking the cathedral. The room was was perfectly located for what we wanted which was to visit the cathedral and the Berbie palace/Toulouse-Latrec museum. We were surprised by how lovely Albi was.

I did not read the description closely enough and I did not realize the room was located inside our Host's home. The room and bathroom across the hall was fine and our host was very helpful and gracious so it was not a problem, just a surprise.

Fabulous view of the cathedral out the window of the room. Best location for visiting museums, restaurants, shopping. Extremely friendly and welcoming host. Lift, unusual in old cities. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Windows that open.

The location of Elvire's room is ideal, with its direct view on Sainte Cécile's stunning cathedral. When waking up in the middle of the night, seeing the cathedral through the open blinds makes the location exceptional. The superb view can also be admired from the tenants' terrace, which constitutes a perfect reason for chosing to have breakfast here. Moreover, the croissants and jams are very good.

The view from the room is exceptional : directly onto Albi's cathedral. The room is spacious, comfortable and tidy : more than enough for one to two people. The hosts are available and have good conversation in French only.

Not many hygiene products were at disposal : make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The breakfast was a bit pricy (9€) but it was of good quality

The adjacency to the world heritage, that Albi Cathedral is just outside the west window of this room and you could enjoy this excellent view of the east exterior wall of the Cathedral, is absolutely the greatest value of this room.

What a treat to stay in this little jewel of an accommodation! The owners rent out one room of their home to travelers whose view overlooks the Cathedral and the Toulouse Lautrec Museum. It was very comfortable -- large room, separate WC and shower room. Patio rooftop breakfast prepared and served by owners was such a treat, we felt very pampered.

The hosts were very kind and welcoming providing us with any thing needed. The position of the room is perfect, with a beautiful view of the cathedral. The house is ready to reach.
