Comfy bed, pleasant staff and a good breakfast. We were later arriving than planned and liked that the management sent a message about how to access the hotel if main door locked. Also next to the amusing O Buffet restaurant with robot waiters!

Renovations taking place in corridor which gave a negative impression as we approached our room, but room was nice with plenty of space.

The lady who welcomed us was wonderful. Very helpful, very pleasant.

Finding the parking was a little difficult as not very clearly signposted. However, after stopping in a small area towards the side of the hotel, discovered that this was OK to remain. It was an inconvenience more than anything as my husband is a wheelchair user.

Ideal location on the edge of town but within walking distance of this beautiful city. Close enough to travel into twice / three times each day. Excellent breakfast and we accidentally managed to coincide with the Angouleme Circuit Des Ramparts !

Location: Within easy reach of all main amenities. Breakfast: good, and a lovely outside dining area for breakfast..

Room on the main street. Very busy and motorbikes revving up below the window. A hand towel would not cost too much and would make a real difference.

Very helpful receptionist. Language a barrier but along with google translate she assisted organising taxis and sorting train changes. Location was near the pretty river so was nice to stroll along.

This is a family run hotel with friendly helpful service. Entrance a little old-fashioned but the room was spacious, very clean and a modern, modest sized bathroom. It was easy to find on a roundabout but go straight on (if coming from west) for about 50m and there is a small parking area behind the hotel. There is a little space to park outside the front door but it is tricky to stop, it being so close to the roundabout. For an evening meal do go to La Peniche, about 10mins walk, a moored barge on the river. Quite delightful. Breakfast very good selection; there was a small courtyard garden for warmer weather. We only stopped 1 night en route to Portugal.

A small but adequate hotel I've used several times before. If you don't mind the 20 min walk into town it ticks all my boxes. It's clean, has friendly staff and usually space in the car park.

Clean comfortable great location walk to city centre. Staff helpful- basic price reflects but good for our overnight stay. On a main road could hamper those who sleep lightly.

The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We arrived after check in hours and were given a code to the front door. Our keys were waiting for us at the front desk. The room was comfortable. A fan was included to help with the warm temperatures. Breakfast was pleasant..a typical European buffet. Our dog was welcomed with a 5€ charge for the night. This made traveling as a family so much better. We will return!

The parking lot across the street is a bit uncomfortable to be in late at night (12 am). Nothing happened but groups and campers hang out there, giving it an unsafe feeling.
