Well located for our cycling trip (on the Vélobuissonnière), very good dinner, very clean with good facilities, somewhere safe for our bikes (although we did have to pay €5) and excellent breakfast

Being on the main cross roads it was a bit noisy (we knew it would be) so we had to have the windows closed and the Patron was a bit gruff (initially) but he warmed to us and all the other staff were friendly and helpful

Excellent breakfast with a great choice. much more to choose from than in most French hotels

We were badly held up by a cancelled Ferry crossing and didn't,t arrive until 22.45 to find the hotel locked. In fairness it only took a phone call for them to open up although we suspect they were in bed We appreciated the fact that they took the trouble to let us in

Superb choice at breakfast buffet. Really good quality restaurant at reasonable price. Location easy to find right at centre of town. Short walk to charming old part of town by the river. Handy location for travelling down central France.

Slight disturbance from night time traffic, as it is at main crossroad in town.

The room was adequate for a one night stay and the food good.

Difficulty in finding the hotel and more importantly finding a parking spot. The manager was uncommunicative but the rest of the staff were very helpful.

This is a stunning overnight stop. Great location on and off the motorway. Great value for money with secure parking. We booked for dinner and this was fantastic should have a couple of Michelin stars.

Not the fault of the hotel but it is on a very busy trucking route and quite noisy. Take some ear plugs because the food is worth the stop.

We have used La Barque several times and always enjoyed our stay. M Vincent has always welcomed us and was extremely helpful when we had a problem at the Supermarket with a payment at the petrol pump.

The staff were welcoming, the room clean and comfortable and the breakfast very good. We had dinner in the restaurant, and it was excellent. The hotel is very well placed near the motorway, and makes a very convenient overnight stop. We have used it many times and will continue to return.

Perfect overnight stop. Evening meal was excellent, as was the breakfast. Safe car parking in a locked garage, but if this is full there is a large public carpark behind the hotel. We met a couple who had returned after 6 years so they could eat in the restaurant again.

the evening meal was delicious and there was a varied choice at breakfast. We were given a quiet room as requested and it was comfortably warm on the chilly evening when we arrived. There was secure parking for a small charge.

A kettle was provided, which was appreciated, but no tea or coffee. Fortunately we came prepared with our own! The hotel is on the busy road which runs through the centre of town.
