Location and charm of the hotel. Size of the room

Coffee making facilities, a fridge and bottled drinking water in the rooms would be great additions.

We stayed at the hotel for x2 nights en route to Italy in our car. The hotel was perfect for our stay. It is very close to the centre of Beaune & has an excellent, secure car park on site. On arrival a member of staff came out immediately to show us where to park. All the staff we met were extremely friendly & efficient. Our room was very large & all extremely clean....the bed & pillows were very comfortable. The breakfasts were generous &, apart from the usual bread rolls (delicious!), jams, we were also offered cheese/ham etc. Again, the breakfast staff were so welcoming & the whole hotel has a lovely, friendly feel to it. I was even able to order a lovely pot of afternoon tea in the cosy lounge area after a long day's site seeing. Would thoroughly recommend.

The Belle Epoque is a beautiful hotel. The staff are outstandingly helpful and efficient. We apreciated the convenience of on-site parking, and chargers are available. The breakfast is a perfect example of the French breakfast presented to your table immediately. We enjoyed our stay so much we returned for another couple of days the following week. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the heart of Beaune where the lovely shops, wineries, and busy cafes, bistros and elegant restaurants are just what the visitor to France has been looking forward to.

Would have liked a lift, but this is an old building.

The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel secure parking is easy to access and there is also a public car park opposite. Great position for Beaune Centre.

The shower was in the bath and it really needed replacing. The bath was slippery when wet which made getting out of the shower dangerous. Apparently they are not allowed to put a mat in it. There is a spiral staircase to access the upstairs courtyard rooms so if you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor room

The size of the room was fine and had a large bathroom. The location was great as it is walking distance from the Hotel-Dieu which was the main reason for visiting Beaune. The parking facilities were very good and secure and the cost was reasonable. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

The room was on the second floor which is also the top floor so we had a sloping ceiling and the windows were at floor level with the bed in front of them so it was rather dark. The room also faced a busy road so it was rather noisy at night. I would recommend when making a booking with this hotel to request a room in the courtyard which should be much quieter. The hotel also doesn't have a lift.

Location great, just outside the oldest part of Beaune, with good access and plenty of private parking. Old-world “Belle Epoque” atmosphere in the common areas. Breakfast was excellent, with freshly-pressed orange juice and perfectly-cooked eggs prepared to order.

Bed in the “standard double” was standard French size, i.e. a bit small. A choice of pillows would have been nice (I always find the usual pillows too thick!)

Spacious room, great shower, big bed. Nice little terrace and chair and table out front. I liked the courtyard layout off the main street. Lovely breakfast area including also a nice terrace. Very helpful staff - also the manager who personally drive us to Puligny-Montrachet when our taxi didn't show up. Thanks, Walid for the dining and evening out recommendations! Everyone was very patient with our terrible French. Was good to be just 50m or so from the old town and Maufoux St. Very easy to walk into town or to jog to the nearby vineyards.

Would be nice to have a coffee machine of some sort in the room.

The staff were welcoming friendly and very efficient at all times. The hotel provides on-site parking and is beautiful inside and out. In spite of being quite centrally located for enjoying the life in Beaune it is quiet and peaceful. Beaune is a fabulous town and the centre is full of life with wonderful shops and restaurants. Breakfast was true French perfection. We really enjoyed our night at the Hotel Belle Epoque.

I loved this hotel ! Location was fantastic walking distance to the Beaune City Centre, the rooms were very large and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the staff - they were very helpful and spoke English which was of great benefit to us !

Only two minor complaints - we couldn't control the air conditioning in our room, I run very hot so like to ensure it's cool in my room. We were lucky we could keep the door and window open to cool down the room but if it had been hotter the room would have been a sauna. Secondly the photos on Booking.com showed walk in showers and both of our rooms had showers over baths which were VERY slippery.

Fabulous location, easy walk to the old town. Easy parking. Comfortable, spacious room. Delicious and generous breakfast, including scrambled eggs, yogurt, ham, and cheese, as well as pastry items. Nice courtyard for breakfast and drinks. Clean. Cute traditional decor. Friendly staff.

Extra charge for parking. Our ground floor room had just one unscreened window that we could not safely leave open at night, so the room got stuffy. I may be wrong about this, but it seemed as though when we turned the lights off, the power outlets also turned off, so our devices did not charge overnight.
