Rooms were spacious, well equipped with tv netflix, amazon etc - latest nespresso machines, stunning views Restaurant looked fantastic - Michelin 1 star, pre booking essential, as extremely popular. Breakfast on the terrace in the sunshine was great - buffet offered everything, and waiting staff were attentive, but not intrusive. Staff were fantastic overall, a great team throughout the hotel, led by Lucie, the manageress, who was extremely well qualified and completes the guest experience.

I did not like leaving the hotel.

Beautiful & luxurious property in the best location just outside of the old city walls. Very friendly staff. They were very gracious towards our pets & left bowls, treats & poop bags.

We wrote a message through booking.com to ask about the price of the dogs & never received a reply. It ended up being 30 Euro a piece or 60 for the 2 dogs which is a bit pricey for one night. We would have stayed there anyway but would have been nice to know in advance.

The location and especially the warm welcome for my dog: the hotel didn’t know my dog was with me. When I checked in they asked me wait 2 minutes to ensure that the room was dog ready. I thought by myself that I would probably get the worst room reserved for dogs but no way: they really needed time to make the room dogproof with his own blanket, a food and water bowl, treats etc. It was really heartwarming!

It was a bit pricey

Friendly and helpful staff leading up to and on arrival. Staff met us in the garage to take our bags up to our room. lovely garden for a drink. Friendly bar staff. Fun pool table in the bar. Incredible food at the restaurant.

More cooked selection to order at Breakfast. Gluten Free bread at breakfast; although there were GF options (cakes and cereal). No alcohol in the minibar Group of 4 ordered a bottle of wine and there was not a second bottle available! WE didn't know that until we are to order another which was a shame - they could have informed us initially.

The outdoor area was very nice. The breakfasts were exceptionally good, and the bar- and breakfast room staffs were outstanding. We enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel and the common areas very much. We could easily walk into town in just a few short blocks and yet the hotel was stately and quiet. I think it would appeal to all generations of clients.

Suite was unremarkable but comfortable. I think if we were to do it over, we'd get a regular room. A bit challenging to make advance reservations for spa and dining. We tried to make dinner reservations there several weeks in advance, but they do a lot of private parties there, so no dinner reservations could be made.

The staff went the extra mile to recognize unique aspects of each traveler. For instance, putting an American flag in turndown chocolate on the 4th of July and having balloons, card and bottle of sparkling wine in their room to recognize their birthday.

While the breakfast was nice, it is a bit expensive for what was provided.

The facilities were very nice and the rooms were great! Both the actual room and bathroom were very large and updated. The lobby and courtyard were also lovely. Very walkable to city center!

Some of the front desk staff was not very friendly. We had one experience where we engaged with one front desk staff member who said they would get the concierge. That took almost 10 minutes and then the concierge barely spoke English so was not helpful. They also confirmed they arranged a car to take us to the train station that never showed up so the hotel had to drive us quickly to make our train.

The location was excellent, the staff was phenomenal with questions and making reservations for us. The accommodations were above what we were expecting

The location was perfect. Very close to everything, but as quiet at night as it could be. We should have used the concierge more. The restaurant on the property is the best dinner we had in Beaune. It was stunning and with lovely ambience. The menu was inventive French. Delicious and beautiful. The staff were very professional and elite, yet so helpful and friendly. Excellent.

I thought the wine tasting bar was a bit overpriced. I understand the hotel is newly renovated. The lobby needs more authenticity for my taste. I thought the decor was contrived… but that is my business to notice.

We particularly liked the incredibly attentive staff and the fantastic customer service. I also immensely appreciated the fact that my hybrid car was parked and plugged in the garage! Such a thoughtful touch!!! I didn't even ask for this. The hotel restaurant and breakfast (including all the lovely staff who served and took care of us) were amazing and top notch! The general areas of the hotel are beautiful, elegant and very well kept.

The suite. We found that this was not commensurate with the high rate that we paid for one night. I believe the quality of the room could have been better in order to match the rate or the rate lower in order to match the type of room. In itself the room had nothing lacking and was spotlessly clean and well organised however we did find it small, sombre and not very exciting in terms of decor. Otherwise everything else (including room service) was excellent!
