The welcome was excellent and the staff very helpful.

My impression was of a rather "tired " hotel that was in need of some renovation, rather than what appeared to be some emulsion paint "slapped " on: even onto the skirting boards in places. There was no restaurant for an evening meal, but a credit note was given for one of two local establishments. For one of these the amount credited would just about cover their basic menu. Didn't seem to meet the claim on the booking confirmation. All in all, I felt somewhat let down by what was called "The Grand Hotel ". I'm sure other visitors might not agree with my comments.

Beautiful place and nice hotel. No resturant within the hotel so had to go searching for meals, however there were plenty of good resturants close by. Our stay was spoiled by the inclemement weather. Private off street parking to the rear and excellent position

The breakfast was great and the staff were fantastic. The location of course is absolutely perfect.

The bathroom is one of the rooms we stayed in was much older than the other room but it is to be expected as the building is so old. The positives though 100% outweighed the negatives.

No air-conditioning, so had to leave the windows open during the day/night and being next to the church that tolled each hour did mean waking up early, which would have been okay if I wanted to get up at 7am

very well placed at the port, excellent localization. electric bike rental at the hotel. excellent breakfast. nice forties' hotel architecture (a bit messed up) just beside the Abbey...

might improve railroad & airport connection with Bénodet: information, options, bus schedule, etc... too much boat-ferry agency without regional land integration or circulation (culinary, oysters, mangroves, sightseeing, etc.)

The location is perfect and the view over the river from our room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were very helpful. They sent some great suggestions for places to eat and to visit. The breakfast was great.

The decor in the bedrooms is a little old fashioned and would benefit from being updated.

The hotel is right in the centre of Bénodet. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The hotel is charming and with a lot of history to it. The beds are very comfortable and for the value, it’s excellent. Yes parts of it might be able to have a refresh but overall, very good.

Due to our friends car breaking down, the staff were so helpful in helping to arrange a hire car. We will be looking to return in 2024 to explore more of the area and use the hotel as a base.

The hotel was lovely - right next to an old church, a beach, the ferry across the river to the sister city Ste Marine. The entire town of Benodet is walkable, so easy to get around. And the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

We had paid for a superior room to have more space (yes!) and a view of the water. Unfortunately, our room was on the top floor with a small mansard window, which meant we had the view only when standing up in a narrow band of the room.

The continental breakfast was excellent there was plenty of choice and ample of everything. The location was perfect - right on the river and very near the sea.

Everything was good.
