The hotel is breathtaking and the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable - each of our rooms offering hotel crested small gifts, beautifully presented welcome fruits and bottles of complimentary chilled champagne to order - it’s the perfect start to our stay in this living landmark palace - it feels like such a privilege to be able to stay here. The breakfast room has an incredible 280 degree view of the ocean and the beachfront and there’s a Michelin restaurant completing the offering. The spectacular pool overlooks the entire beach and there’s poolside dining. The hotel is within walking distance of the lovely town and all the luxury brand stores. Concierge supply a list of great restaurants beyond the hotel and are very helpful with all requests. This stay was wonderful in every way.

Everything about the location was fabulous. This was my 3d stay, and it was lovely to be recognized and personally greeted by the staff. I love the beach and the views of the beach from the dining room at breakfast and dinner.

There is something strange about the staff at the restaurant. I am a woman traveling alone, and each time, during all three stays, every time I checked in for breakfast or dinner, the hostess looked at me up and down from head to toe as if in disapproval. It was very uncomfortable and very different from the staff at the front desk/reception, who were very warm and polite.

This has to be one of the finest period buildings in all of France. Blessed to be situated on the panoramic sea front of Biarritz it was built by Napolean III for his wife the Empress Eugénie. Photographs in the spa of Edward VII confirm it's regal connections. That the interior decor today reflects the splendour of that bygone age are a credit to Hyatt who maintain this historic gem. Rooms are sumptuous, and the whole ambience is that of a stately home at it's best. The rotunda restaurant serves an exceptional breakfast whilst overlooking the seascape.

There is a cosy bar for aperitifs but regrettably the restaurant provided only a tasting menu in the evening when we visited, so we sought out a restaurant nearby for some authentic French cuisine.

Very beautiful hotel , amazing view . The staff was extremely helpful and always kind . The food was good , nothing incredible but good . The outdoor pool is beautiful.

Be careful if you forget to hang the “don’t disturb” on your door , the staff will knock and enter your room as late as 10pm and numerous time in the evening . The indoor pool could use a refresh and the jacuzzi is not hot .

The Resturant. My husband is vegetarian,looking at the menu when booking I asked if they could provide a vegetarian course.NO came back the answer. So sadly we did not eat at the hotel’s magnificent dining room.. Unacceptable for a Michelin Star Resturant/ chef in this day and age,France can be so far behind the rest of the world catering for vegetarians.for such an international hotel,British / Americans etc staying there,hopefully the chef/ management could come up with a compromise!

Everything! Beautiful hotel, incredible rooms, stunning views of the lighthouse, beach and ocean. Facilities from the restaurant and bar to the spa and pool were superb. The team helped make it a memorable stay with how amazingly friendly and helpful they were plus the immaculate service they provide.

We did not like the fact we had to leave! It was amazing.

This Hotel is one of the exceptional Hotels in the World. The Management and Staff, including the waiters at their wonderful restaurants was beyond what my wife and I could expect.

The Menu was never changed and offered litle variety. Room service was not up tp expectation and what was available after 11:00 P.M. was not in keeping with a 5 star hotel. It seemed that Room Service needs a total overall.

Absolutely stunning hotel in the most beautiful setting. On the odd occasion that something went wrong (minor things), they went out of their way to correct them. We were treated exceptionally well and the staff were extremely helpful and genuine in providing the best experience possible. We were delighted to be upgraded and although no sea view, the balcony made the room more spacious and comfortable.
