This family-run hotel is so much more than 'two stars': It offers family (3-4 persons) cabins with kitchenette and a few ones with own terrace, next to standard double rooms. The swimming pool (with temperature regulation) with the adjacent bar forms the centre of the hotel-life. The bartender shakes the best cocktails in town and since the hotel is embedded in the neighbourhood, locals arrive late afternoon for a drink, while their children make use of the pool. It is cosy and lively at the same time, but possibly a bit less appealing to teenagers.

In fact nothing, but during warm summer days, a small fridge in the room would have been nice (family rooms have kitchenettes). The chairs in the room are not very comfortable. After some days the breakfast becomes a bit "more of the same" and could have been more varied

Absolute gem of a hotel to use as a base for the 80th Anniversary D-Day celebrations. Close enough to experience the festivities but removed so not stuck in traffic and chaos. Gorgeous grounds, lovingly tended with beautiful blooms and plants. Heated pool and the most comfortable true king sized bed in Europe. Our hosts were warm and their friendly, genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome! Anthony was an amazing bartender and he even made us a special dirty banana drink based on a story we told as his gift to us. The shareable snacks, charcuterie boards, oysters were delicious. We found ourselves just enjoying time lounging at the hotel. We would return here in a heartbeat! Highly recommend this property to American travelers wanting to explore Normandy.

From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, my experience at this charming retreat was awesome. First and foremost, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking pool area. It was perfect for lounging by the crystal-clear water, basking in the sun, and enjoying the serene ambiance. The pool's tranquil setting created the perfect oasis to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle. Whether you're seeking a refreshing morning swim or a relaxing evening dip, this pool is sure to please everyone. The rooms at this delightful hotel were thoughtfully designed and generously sized. Equipped with everything one could possibly need, my room was a cozy sanctuary that made me feel right at home. Impeccably clean and exuding a charming appeal, the ambiance was simply delightful. As we were staying on the upper floor this charm extended out to the balcony, which had comfy outdoor seating so you can soak up the atmosphere more privately if you wish The owners of this enchanting hotel, Thierry and Pascale, truly know how to make their guests feel at ease. Warm, friendly, and welcoming, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfection. Their genuine hospitality and willingness to accommodate any request made us feel so welcome. Dining by the pool was an absolute delight. The delectable selection of nibbles offered was a treat for the taste buds. There is a small set menu of tasty treats and a barbecue night every so often. To sum it up, my stay at this small hotel with a great pool was a dream come true. The well-maintained pool area, comfortable and charming rooms, and the warmth of the owners made it a truly memorable experience. If you're looking for a hidden gem to escape the ordinary, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful place with incredibly friendly staff that went out of their way to help you. Lovely patio area in front of room. Good sized room. Excellent shower. Bar area and pool really comfortable with lots of lovely flowers around. A total chill out!

No WiFi in room and couldn’t get it around bar either (member of staff kindly let me connect to his data). Shower room was small with a curtain to separate it from the bedroom.

During our long first week-end trip with our 1,5 year toddler in a hotel, we were lucky to stay in a place where everybody feels welcome and can feel comfortable. The entire place was spotless clean so our little one could walk around without any issue. During 4 days we met great people, young and older couples, families. The owners and staff went above and beyond to help. This place is super inclusive and chill. We didn't use the pool but it looked perfect and the water was not cold at all ! There was also a sauna and petanque field. Games and books were available downstairs. All the time there was some good music playing on the terrace. We had dinner every night downstairs while our toddler was sleeping: tapas, amazing paella, tapas and planche, barbecue. And a new barman makes the most amazing, large and loaded cocktails. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment is well organised. The little kitchen came in handy. Everything was no nonsense but super comfortable into the details. This place is a hidden gem! Super friendly, helpful owners and staff. Nice pool and patio area, easy walk to the town centre and beachfront. We had a double room facing the road, quiet and comfortable. Nice bar area open during the day and evenings, and a good selection of food for breakfast. Overall a very pleasant stay, made complete by the friendly owners. Well stay again !!

Nothing not to like.

Very helpful friendly hosts. Great location, just ten minutes walk into the lovely town of Villers. Fabulous room, with plenty of outside space. Great barbeque (superb cote de boeuf) and music evening. Really enjoyable week.

We loved the swimming pool. It was heated and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always in for a chat. The room was large, tidy and cosy. There was a fridge and a kitchen although we didn’t use it.

Everything fine. We can’t recall something we didn’t like.

The rooms were perfect everything you need. Clean tidy and well thought out. The pool was beautifull and the seating areas was fantastic. The owners are so helpful and went out of there way. The bar was open till around 10 and food served till 9 but the owners would go out of there way to help if needed.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. The owners are very friendly, breakfast was tasteful, we tried also some apero food and oysters and it was very tastefull as well. It is a quiet place where you want to sit on the terrasse and enjoy our glass of wine. Swimming pool was great, water heated, very pleaseant to jump in. We had family room which was a bit smaller in size, but beds were comfortable. It is approximately 10-15 min walking distance from the beachfront. There are shops and restaurants, even local market. We would definitely recommend it :)
