Ibis has genuinely provided above and beyond my expectations! Hotel had everything that was required, the room was clean and had air con, parking was also included for an additional €11 per night. The night manager (Richard?) was so friendly and made our stay the best! Big thanks to Richard! Will definitely pick ibis when next travelling!

The bed could have been more comfortable but everything was great apart from that! Will be returning to any ibis now due to good experience.

The receptionist was very polite and helpful. Room was clean, a little bit small (as we had our dog and his sleeping quarters with us), the toilet and shower were in separate cubicles and we felt the room was all comparable to those on a ferry crossing. Slept ok though. Paid for underground parking which was easy to access. Location was good and only a short walk over the bridge to the bars etc.

The accommodation is close to the public transport and to the city center. The room has all the basics you need to stay for a night or two. It can warm up during the day but there's an AC, so it is not an issue. The bathroom was well lighted and spacious.

There wasn't anything particular I didn't like. Maybe the shower cabin door, which didn't close well and water was spilling.

Close to transport to train station - bus #10 and huge Carrefours beside it. Small restaurants in the area but mostly closed as it was a long weekend ! An easy walk across the bridge to centreville !

They should fix the electronic door lock ! 6-7 tries to get in doesn’t quite cut it ! The Ibis chain should provide a few more tv channels than basic . Providing paper cups in your room the size a dentist gives you to rinse and minimal at breakfast says only that they do things as cheap as possible at this particular Ibis !

All was good, the room was a decent size, clean and comfortable with plenty of charging points. It also had effective air conditioning. A 15 minute walk across the bridge brings you into the city centre with plenty to do and see.

The hotel doesn't have dedicated parking, you can park on the street outside with restrictions (paid) or there is a multi storey car park next door. Please take care to note that cars with roof boxes (like ours) cannot gain access to the car park.

God location. Just 5 min walking distance from the tram station. Breakfast is minimal, but good quality. Very pleasent personal, ready to help and assist. Behind the hotel located Carefour market, which is also convenient

Wi-fi too slow. Small wc and bathroom. Very small space, only beds and case:) But those disadvantages were known by booking, so I do not expected more. To summarise, the hotel is much better, as one can expect.

At first we thought we were a bit out of town but the helpful reception staff told us about the tram system and it was no problem, 4 mins into main area. Very clean and quiet. Really lovely staff.

Room was small and felt cramped with the over head bed which I kept banging my head on the ladder

really comfortable bed, great value for a solo traveller, close to the tram, buses, and a lovely walk across the Pont de Pierre to the historic centre. I had a super view of the dome of Ste Marie de Bastide from my room on the top floor. the Air Conditioning was most welcome in the high temperatures.

although I know that Bordeaux has a huge range of restaurants, cafes, bars, I think it would be great to have a comfortable lobby or rooftop terrace in IBIS Budget itself to relax in…. I know the adjoining IBIS hotel has quite a large lobby which seems to be underused, but a more comfortable communal space that might overlap with the breakfast area would be great. I realise that the economic model is minimalist and efficient to reflect the ‘budget’ category.

Well run, clean hotel. Bedroom (triple) bright and airy. Great location. Staff team friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Good value for money.

No big complaint. Could do with a sitting area.

Basic room, location was great, a short 5min walk to the tram and main bridge. This hotel is basic, but amazing value for money. We used it as a based to explore the city.

The bunk bed above the main bed was very difficult to get in and out of. The toilet and shower were small. But you get what you pay for and this hotel was about a third of the price of anywhere else in Bordeaux.
