We used this hotel as overnight stop when travelling South, staff very friendly and helpful, room basic with everything needed, typical French self service breakfast which was good and plentiful - alterative eating places for evening meal nearby - secure parking - excellent value for money - lady in charge 10+ stars - would recommend The Scot & Norwegain

Nice, functional hotel, just off the motorway. Fine for a stopover, with a surprisingly good park and stroll down the river. The staff were super friendly and there's a secure car park which is good when your motor is packed with gear.

Middle of a heatwave and the aircon just about handled it but could've been better. Breakfast is average. Bar closes early and nowt to do nearby so have to walk to town if you're a night owl.

The hotel is easy to find and located alongside the river Rhone and leafy riverside pathways. It has ample parking and the added bonus of an outside pool. It is a basic hotel without a dining room but there are two good restaurants very nearby. The breakfast was good.

Nothing not to like

The staff were lovely. The beds were comfortable. They accept dogs, and its got nice walking areas directly outside the hotel. Breakfast was great.

First impression of the bedroom was that it was very basic and small. However we slept really well so was easily overcome.

Good location by river. Restaurant very close by ,secure parking.

Room too hot. Air condition took long time to cool the air down and was noisy on middle setting. Okay on lowest. Duvet is as if we were in northern Finland. Okay it was a hot day for March....needed to take duvet out and just use cover as a sheet.

The rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds. There is enclosed parking, a small but enjoyable pool as well as opportunities to walk by the Rhone and enjoy nearby restaurants. Breakfast is also an affordable price here!

We enjoyed everything and will stay here again.

A well located property next to the river and a ‘popular spot’ it seemed, with the local people. We were concerned that music from riverside venues might be loud and intrusive but with the window closed we had no problems. The car park next to us, which was full when we arrived, was empty next morning and we had had no ‘disturbance’. The room was very clean and ‘modern’ but some tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice. Very secure parking was helpful.

The hotel is located in a recreation area: a park where you can walk your dog, nearby cafes, playgrounds. No noise could be heard from the street or inside the hotel. The swimming pool is great, big and cleaned every day. Own convenient and large parking lot. The rooms are clean.

The air conditioner worked intermittently

Great location a few minutes off the motorway; very quiet with secure parking. Excellent for us with a dog because of the large riverside park/walkway along the Rhone. Old town of Valance within half an hours walk.

It was as described, clean and great price

So used to having reception staff. Had trouble checking in. Didn’t receive the second mail with access code and room number. Had to phone to have them resend. Just a bit frustrating after a very long drive
