The overall experience. The property is immaculately kept. Alain and Jenny communicated clearly and welcomed us prior to our arrival. And they were there to greet us and assist us with our luggage and a smooth check in. Our room was large, and pristine. We settled in immediately. There are only 3 rooms in the Villa, so one feels comfortable and private. The kitchen is available to make coffee, and non cooked items. Perfect for our wine/cheese afternoons! The surrounding area worked perfect for us as we enjoyed picturesque hikes in the National Park Calanques. And the drive to Marseille is short, so we spent a day there seeing the sites and back in time to enjoy the relaxing poolside lounge chairs. Two highlights. 1. The daily breakfast: fresh pastries, cheese, yoghurt and fruit that is meticulously prepared by Alain. 2. Alain and Jenny’s attention to detail. They go above and beyond as hosts. An example, we came back from a particularly muddy/dusty hike. The next morning as we were packing, (I was worried because I forgot to clean our shoes) and my husband said “our shoes are clean”. That was such a surprise and delight!

If anything, the WiFi could be more consistent and stronger (we had to do some work during our stay)

The breakfasts were amazing. Beautifully cut fruit, charcuterie and cheeses, baguette,pastries, yoghurt, coffee and juice. We didn’t need lunch! The room and whole property were lovely and the pool and grounds well kept. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

We were staying at the very end of the summer season, in the last week of September, and the pool wasn’t warm enough to swim in. Heating it when necessary would be good.

Alain and Jenny were the most amazing hosts we've ever experienced! Over and above in every way. Did everything they could to enhance our visit to Cassis. Breakfasts were wonderful, rooms so inviting and clean, place immaculate including the beautiful pool and gardens. Bikes offered gratis.

The property is a bit of a walk from Cassis, around 40 minutes but beautiful and could have biked. Parking in Cassis is a challenge but Alain gave us tips on finding a space at night when we went into town for dinner. We needed to leave very early and these wonderful people got up and made us breakfast though we begged them not to. Just so great!

Alain and Jenny were wonderful hosts. They met us on arrival in the driveway to help carry our luggage. They gave us a choice between 2 different rooms; either would have been perfect. We opted for the bright room with a lovely patio. You can see that Alain takes great pride in tending to the gardens as they are thriving beautifully. He even took us on a tour, shared some of his gardening tips/tricks and talked about plans to plant more. Such a friendly couple and easy to chat with even with the language barrier as we don't speak French. The entire property with it's enchanting outdoor space is pretty as a picture. I actually renamed Alain the Michelin star gardener :O) Breakfast was also delightful - fresh breads and croissants, local jams and honey, cheese, charcuterie, and amazing espressos plus fresh squeezed OJ on another lovely patio outside the kitchen. We didn't use the pool due to temperature (wasn't warm enough yet) but it was super inviting. We enjoyed everything about our stay from the beautiful grounds to the charming room, comfortable bed and the exceptional hospitality. Would highly recommend.

A truly amazing place to stay, bedroom was comfortable and spacious, kitchen facilities and breakfast both fantastic. The highlight is the pool and how warm and welcoming Jenny and Alain were. They helped with recommending activities, vineyards and places to go for food and drinks. They had bikes to lend us which allowed us to cycle in to Cassis each evening for dinner- perfect! We loved everything about this place and will be back- thanks again!

A beautiful escape from busy Cassis but only a 2 minute drive into town. The hosts Alain and Jenni were absolutely gorgeous. Nothing was a problem! The breakfast was exceptional!! A great highlight. The pool fabulous and a very clean property. We would definitely recommend!

A minor issue but we would have preferred a fixed shower head rather than a hand held shower head. Plus a couple of drinking glasses in the rooms would be good.

Alain and Jenny went out of their way to make our stay the best. Breakfast requests, alone time at the secluded pool, the wonderful gardens! Such a hideaway. Being away from town and restaurants, they brought us pizza by the pool, and even escorted us to town to help us find parking in crowded Cassis. The room was large and sparkling clean too.

The only downside was being a bit too far from restaurants for two seniors like us.

Le Mas du Perthus was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to help us and to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and the pool is magnificent! Such a lovely place to relax. There are bikes available that make getting into downtown Cassis very easy and it is a beautiful ride into town passing vineyards. They even gifted us a bottle of beautiful local wine as it was our honeymoon. The breakfasts are also tremendous. Highly recommend staying here

Alain and Jenny are wonderful and welcoming hosts. They gave us many great recommendations for our daily activities and places to eat. Great breakfast. Very comfortable room and bed. The bikes the provided made getting to and from town very easy.

We wanted to treat ourselves with two nights here at the end of our cycling holiday. What a treat! It was truly as amazing as all the other descriptions. Lovely room, welcoming and helpful hosts, gorgeous garden and sparkling, beckoning pool (6 swims in two days!)
