Very near to the cathedral and other attractions. Beautiful and comfortable room with view of the cathedral. Nice furniture. Excellent breakfast. In-house bar and restaurant. Private parking. Great cordiality and sympathy.

We asked for and paid extra for rooms with Cathedral view for the nightly illuminations. Our rooms were exceptional as far as the view went. We had a bullseye view of the Cathedral all the time, and during the nighttime illuminations, we were able to view the festivities for over an hour after we returned to our rooms. This hotel was beyond our expectations and I have been recommending it to all those I tell about my trip. The staff was cordial, taking our bags when we arrived before check-in time and keeping our bags after we checked out but still had two hours before train time. They acted like they were happy to accommodate us.

Location is perfect and I had a beautiful view of the cathedral. Room was lovely and clean. Restaurant on site was excellent. Nice professional staff.

Booking indicated room had air conditioning, but it was more like an air circulating fan. Heat had broken, so I slept with window open and was fine. Elevator was broken, so had to carry bags up 4 flights, but they did offer to have someone help me. Elevator was fixed and back running when I checked out. But I would still highly recommend unless it's really hot out.

Hotel decor is lovely, with dark walls and a retro vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for seeing the cathedral. I reserved a 2 room suite with pullout couch not expecting to use the pull-out. My cousin ended up using the pull-out bed and said it was very comfortable. That was a big plus!

I guess the bathroom would be the only slight negative. It had a hand held shower head in the bathtub but it was perfectly fine for me. Someone with mobility issues would not be able to get in and out of the tub in that room.

The view was the main reason for choosing this hotel and it didn't disappoint. We didn't book the breakfast but decided to have it on the spur of the moment. It was way above the normal buffet affair - not quite "full English" but eggs and toast were available for self-preparation

The only very minor issue was the location of the shower-head - across the bath - so use of the curtain was essential.

The room is small but comfortable. The bathroom however, is awkwardly small with the toilet bowl taking up half of the footprint. There was a sewer smell coming out of the bathroom for the first 24 hours so we left the bathroom window open despite the cold weather.

all the staff were really friendly and welcoming; kern to provide great customer service. The hotel is located right in the centre of Chartres, great for sightseeing and have a secure parking space too. the room was comfortable and clean. the breakfast and evening meal were exceptional. I would recommend this stay.

the bathroom was too small and as the shower over the bath didn’t have a shower curtain the water went everywhere! ideally get rid of the bath and just have a nice shower. because the hotel is right in the town centre it was noisy at night but we chose to have a room with cathedral views so what can one expect!

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, the location is superb, right opposite the cathedral and less than a minutes walk from central restaurants. The parking was easy and we had no problems at all for the 3 days we were there, the staff were particularly helpful and the breakfast was flawless. the location in Chartres is perfect, the town itself is beautiful and well worth a visit if travelling through France, there is a real sense of civic pride in their hometown which is lovely. Absolutely delighted with this hotel and would particularly like to thank the reception and bar staff for their hospitality. Would recommend to all.

Excellently located hotel in the centre of Chartres. Clean, nicely designed rooms. Hotel parking across the road.

There wasn't anything I didn't like however a couple of points to note. The car parking is not big so anyone with a large vehicle could find it a little tight. The bathroom was small. And the restaurant is a top class restaurant (i.e. charges premium prices). This isn't a comment on the quality of the restaurant nor a criticism - more a comment for awareness that if you're arriving and just looking for a simple meal you won't get it here. It's more fine dining.

From the moment we booked the communication from the hotel was excellent. I quickly established that the secure parking was limited availability, simple, prompt, email conversation and we had a space. A few days before arrival we received another communication from the the hotel, with various pre arrival questions, special requests and the like. We had booked the pre paid option so got the lowest rate, one of the options available was whether we would like to pay a supplement for a Cathedral view, it was an easy box to tick at the price quoted, I have to say that was an excellent decision, because when we arrived and opened the door we were both impressed at the room, and there, out the window, was the Cathedral. Breakfast was a plentiful spread, in a pleasant room with the patio doors open and a nice view. The location is superb for a short simple stroll into the centre and the Lumieres especially.
