We booked this hotel at 7pm after our car had been repaired as we didn't know how far we'd get on our journey back to the Tunnel. We immediately messaged with our arrival time and the lady was waiting for us at 9pm, great service. Honestly couldn't have chosen a better location - quiet and only a few minutes off the autoroute with good parking. Our room (number 20) exceeded our expectations - large, airy, spotlessly clean with a big comfy bed and well equipped modern bathroom. We didn't pay for breakfast as we headed off early.

The hotel is just superb. Room was super clean, comfortable with good air con. Staff advised us where to park very close by (10 metres!). We ate at the restaraunt, outdoors, in the little park oppoosite. It was just a superb meal. Very high quality, such good value for 28 euros. The breakfast next morning was delicious, everythign home-made, you could really tell. The best croissant I have ever tasted in France, just superb. Location is great, lovely little town to explore. We were lucky as the town festival started that night, free music, great atmosphere all nearby. I would not hesitate to recommend and would advise to eat in at the restaraunt for a really great French meal.

Pretty good stay in Chaumont, good location, nice view, the room was very small but equipped with everything that I needed for a one night stay

My room was very small, the restaurant in the hotel was a bit over-priced for the quality they provided, I was alone: 1 starter, 1 main course, wine and a coffee for ± €80 - staff was very nice and helpful though and nice outdoor terrace..

We often travel from St Tropez back to the UK and this was a perfect stop off. Super convenient, great parking and really lovely helpful staff. The hotel is immaculately clean and the breakfast was great ! Love the orange juicing machine 🍊 Arrived a little late but had a quick look at the town and it’s really nice - will arrive earlier next time. Thank you Guys - and big Woof from Teddy our dog 🐶

Madame v solicitous. Showed us to room and where everything was. We stayed in a superior double room which was as well equipped as a 5 star hotel with robes, tissues, shower cap, kettle etc. We were given fresh milk for tea (we’d bought our own English breakfast tea!) Bed v comfortable. Our room was quiet even though there was a music festival in the town. Restaurant a lovely surprise. Excellent service. Meal good with an interesting menu. Buffalo cheese foam and tomatoes. Chicken stuffed with chorizo. Dessert of red fruits with sprinkling of crumble so not too heavy. Lovely champagne and local white wine. Breakfast magnificent. Madame brought us boiling water for our tea and again showed us the wonderful breakfast spread: croissants, French bread, home made jams, home made yoghourt (creamy and delicious with the jam!), home made cake, ham, cheese, fruit salad. A lovely hotel.

The hotel is on a great location and were very happy with our room! The property has an excellent restaurant on site where we enjoyed a lovely dinner, and although we normally don’t eat breakfast in the hotels in France, we decided to do so this time, and was more than pleasantly surprised with the quality of the homemade breakfast. The hotel welcomes dogs at a charge, and the staff was really welcoming to both us and our dogs. We will certainly be back!

Friendly & attentive staff. Room good size, comfortable & spotlessly clean. Attention to detail eg feather & down quilt, selection pillows, bathrobes, kettle & tea/coffee facilities, minibar for soft drinks. Position good. Interesting old building.

The bathroom was very compact. Beautiful dinner, except sadly the lamb cutlets were overcooked & topping burnt. Otherwise it was superb! :-)

Good hotel in Chaumont, which is a good stopover location if travelling across France to the Alps. Rooms are comfortable, good breakfast and excellent dinner in the restaurant. Receptionist made us welcome (with our dog, too), as did the restaurant manager. We had to change our booking dates, but this was done without extra charges.

Restaurant served excellent food, but the waitress could have smiled a little more, or said a few words of welcome. She didn't seem very happy doing her job.

Great location for travellers as just off the main AutoRoute, Chaumont is a charming little town to spend an evening or two in. Receptionist went out of his way to make us welcome, even moving his car to let us park closer to the hotel to unload. Room very clean and spacious, with a main bedroom, bathroom, and lounge room. Dinner at night was well made and good value. We don't normally take the breakfasts, usually heading to a local baker, but we decided to give it a try and again very good spread and helpful staff. Definitely stay again.

This is very nit picking, but the door way into the reception is stone and very low. It looks very pretty but my husband walked straight into it and banged his head. Not so much a bad review of the hotel, more of my husband.

The location and the bedroom was a good size. The dinner was superb and most of the items for breakfast were homemade. Parking space as well.

Nothing really - some of the staff are young and being trained so more attention to detail.
