If you want corporate sophistication, this is not the place for you. The hotel has a friendly "lived in" feel with an interesting mix of modern art and antique furniture and rugs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. La Source Bleue is quite off the beaten track but well worth the diversion. It is in a wonderful quiet wooded area and you will realise where it got it's name once you take a walk along a wooded path around the pond - beautiful. The food was excellent with a very good choice of wine and eating out in the garden was delightful.

The flower beds should be weeded better.

This was our third stay here, we love it. A very convenient stopping point en route south, we love the quirkiness of the art and interior design. There is a little Art Deco garden/sitting room which is particularly delightful. Food is unfailingly good, particularly if you’re a meat eater. Superb breakfast in the marvellously eccentric bar area. Remote, tranquil, outstanding countryside views with a fabulous canal walk in close proximity. Dog friendly.

Although of an excellent standard, the menu remains somewhat limited for vegetarians, and there’s definitely room for improvement on that front. That said, eating out in France is always challenging for vegetarians, so I say this as an observation, not a criticism.

It was great to return to La Source Bleue after several years' absence. The high standards of yesteryear have been well maintained, not least in the cuisine which remains particularly impressive. In fact, eating on the terrace of a summer's evening is one of life's great treats. The staff were very solicitous, and the food was wonderful. The room too was very well maintained. All in all, one of our all-time favourite places to stay - and eat - in France.

One very small criticism: the terrace outside our bedroom didn't seem to have been cleaned. However, that may have been a one-off.

Beautiful looking property. The restaurant was excellent and service was very good . The people looking after us were very professional and very pleasant. We had booked the Roulotte. The interior was well decorated with all the facilities and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The lake with the blue source was amazing.

We like everything but we thought the fruit trees in the field would have been much happier with a bit of pruning.

It is a beautiful traditional hotel in a lovely setting. We have stayed before and chose to return for these reasons and also the excellent food. We love to cycle and it is right next to the fabulous canal route.

While the food was difficult to fault, the 3 course menu has increased in price from our last stay.

right in nature, so beautiful. the main building is an old building, very beautiful. great restaurant with a friendly team. love the house dog of the property. definitely pet friendly!

nothing. but you might need to drive off from the main highway. It might not be so convenient if you are in a rush to get back to the main highways.

fabulous location, informal and warm welcome, laid back and informal atmosphere, pets welcome. wonderful idiosyncratic design, thoughtful, unique architecture of the main bedroom block in keeping with the stunning surroundings of the natural water source and lake in the beautiful valley of the Marne. No expense spared on art and design. We have been coming en route to and from holidays on Lac Leman for over 12 years. Nathalie has always been a charismatic and welcoming hostess. Her husband creates seasonal dishes with real care and local products

The hard working owners were really tired at the end of a tough summer season post Covid, therefore were naturally a little disconnected with the business. Service at dinner was very slow, this has been an ongoing issue probably made worse by the challenges of staff recruitment in rural France. However premium prices are now being charged where once the hotel offered really good value. This is not always reflected in the quality or consistency of service. House keeping is a bit hit and miss, rooms not always reliably cleaned, perhaps standards need more vigilant monitoring? It took several attempts to get the final bill even vaguely correct as glasses of wine were double counted.

The location is superb and the grounds very pretty with a lovely walk round the Source Bleue mill pond. Bedroom was spacious, clean, comfortable and the bed linen of high quality. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and the staff extremely personable and friendly.

Apart from the cold February weather, nothing further to add.

This was my second stay at Logis La Source Bleue and once again it didn't disappoint. It is in an extremely remote location but easy to find and get to. Once again the food was exceptionally good but this time in a slightly less formal outdoor setting but given the hot weather very appropriate. Even the rather rowdy but joyful large French group with a passion for singing over their dinner could not diminish the tranquil atmosphere the place exudes. The cuisine is the stand out experience of this hotel.

The Restaurant, Food and Rooms are all excellent but the whole stay, especially for a non French Speaker would run much smoother if the Management paid a little more attention to detail in the way important information is communicated (or not). It would be helpful if the Wi Fi information was made available in English somewhere and in particular you can't get back into the rooms building after dinner without a door code and as far as I could see that code was not made available anywhere.

The setting is stunning and the lake is beautiful to walk round. a very special and calm place. The rooms are lovely and the restaurant in the old mill is a triumph. The food is excellent and very good value; beautifully presented and a great wine list. Nathalie the owner took great care of us showing us the family photos and the history of the mill and telling us about the extraordinary blue lake.
