We’ve stayed at Jean Moët at least 8 times over the years. Fabulous location. Small intimate hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Freshly cooked eggs, any style. Great French bread and croissants. What more could you want. Over the years we’ve bought lots of friends too - they love it. If you are venturing to smaller vineyards, it’s great . Then walking distance to bars and restaurants in the evening. It’s a fantastic place for a few nights

Honestly - I would have to really pick nits! Perhaps bring in some English breakfast tea!

The hotel was lovely and the decor was beautiful we loved the glass orangery to the front of the hotel the room was clean and the bathroom was very nice too. It was very central in epernay and walking distance to all facilities the staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended and booked us a restaurant for the evening

Parking was very very difficult as you are on a one way street with very little parking luckily wr did fins a space outside but people parked in our bumper so was very difficult to get out on their website states they have a public csr park but this has been all dug up as there Sr e slot of road works didn't like the bar it was at the back of the hotel which was dark and small. Breakfast was OK had a small basket of pasties and yoghurt there was a coffee machine you helped yourself

Fabulous location - right in the heart of the town. The staff could not have been more accommodating and attentive. Rooms were impeccably clean, well appointed and comfortable. Staying on the top floor kept noise to a minimum, although there are some low beams to be cautious of.

Nothing not to like - couple of very small maintenance issues. Overall the hotel was quiet (although I think fully booked), so there was no "buzz" of occupancy. Some may like this, but it made the space feel a little empty.

Excellent location and boutique feel, with welcoming staff. Hotel Jean Moet is an easy walk from the Epernay train station and walking distance from the Ave de Champagne, a fantastic base to explore the area. Lovely breakfast available at the property. Staff were welcoming and friendly, will happily return on a future visit.

No towel rails in the bathroom meant it was too difficult to reuse towels when they could not be dried properly. Also no shelf in the shower for amenities to be placed.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location is quiet but close to many restaurants. The breakfast had a nice array of items (fresh pastries, meats, cheese, coffee/tea, fruit) along with custom-cooked eggs.

No on-site parking. There is some street parking (paid meter) in front of the hotel, but the public parking lot is several blocks away making check-in a challenge with suitcases.

Everything was perfect! Comfortable clean larger room than most European rooms with great black out shades for light control. Staff helpful and friendly. Planned wife's birthday trip with help of the staff via email and everything went great. Recommendations were spot on. Couldn't of been more pleased. Great breakfast and actually one of the best we experienced during our three week trip. Location of hotel, again great! Definitely would stay here again if ever returning.

It was a lovely period property in a great location. The rooms were good and the bed was very comfortable.

The only point was that the room was in the roof space so one side of the bed was very difficult to get to and had no side table. There was a very fancy toilet but it did not operate.

Loved this hotel. Lady at reception was welcoming and informative. Our room was very clean, our towels smelled wonderful, minus some hairs I've seen in some places, it was still the cleanest hotel room I've seen in a while. Our family stayed for one night. Our room had a queen size bed and a pull out couch that worked perfectly. Room was still spacious. Room had everything you need in it. Fresh robes and sealed up bath slippers. Coffee provided in room, free of charge and snacks and drinks provided in room with prices of charge if consumed. Beautiful windows to open easily for fresh air and heater worked just fine. No A/C. Hotel is in walking distance to everything you might need or want in Epernay (my opinion). No parking but there is a 24hrs free parking lot within walking distance. Free parking on Sundays and certain times on the weekdays. A ATM right next to hotel. A Cafe shop at the corner.

Hotel does provide breakfast for 18€ a person. Too much in my opinion so we opted out and had coffee and croissants at the nearby cafe.

Pretty and well maintained hotel with perfect location in St Germain, close to many nice restaurants and bars. Small but sufficient and clean rooms. The staff is extremely kind and service minded. They even offered to refund us the last night since we planned to checkout one night earlier without us even asking.

The location of this hotel is great, on a road just off the central roundabout that leads onto the avenue to champagne, so you can be in a champagne house, glass in hand in under 5 mins! Epernay is a lovely quiet town so being so central doesn’t come with any additional noise or busyness you might expect. The hotel is very boutique with only 12 rooms so it feels very personal and staff are happy to help you with anything. Rooms and lobby areas were stylishly decorated and very clean. We didn’t have breakfast but I’d recommend doing so if you value a good morning meal. Walking past it it looked great (bread, meat, cheese, eggs etc), and we found it hard to find more than a patisserie and coffee in the town.

The only negative is that we stayed in the attic room and it was quite small and had low hanging beams. There is an easy side to getting in to the bed (allocated to my tall boyfriend) but getting in the other side is a bit of a beam-avoiding scramble. It was fine for us for a couple of nights, but wouldn’t suit everyone. In which case I’d recommend booking a room on one of the lower floors.
