This was an amazing mansion to stay. Laurence and Nicolas were extremely welcoming pair and provided us with all the necessary support and information. The rooms were quite luxurious and beds were very comfortable. There is also an amazing garden with peacocks family walking around and the very nice seating area there as well. We were also served a great breakfast with a lot of local and handmade produce. I can surely recommend this place. Many thanks a lot to Laurence and Nicolas!

Boulogne-Sur-Mer is quite at a distance from the location and while we enjoyed easy walking to the city we found out that in the evening it was not so easy to find the taxi back. The navigation system in both Google Map and in the car struggles to find a good way to the mansion and guides you in circles a bit also suggesting to turn an impossible angle to the right :-). Everything else was just perfect! Thanks a lot to Laurence and Nicolas and continue to provide the great service to your guests!

Sat-Nav decided to take us on a tour of the village but eventually when we arrived it was just glorious. It lives up to every bit of what you see in the pics and more. The rooms are decorated and designed beautifully and the gardens are in full sun to be enjoyed with Leon and friends! (peacock). B’fast to die for and if Laurence shares some of the lovely local cheese with you then it’s heaven! Both Nicholas and Laurence and fab people.

There really was nothing to dislike about the property at all. Just be mindful to put the exact address into the Sat-Nav.

The breakfast was excellent with homemade produce of high quality served in a beautiful tranquil location. Our host Nick was friendly and informative and we look forward to returning,

After a very nice, personal welcome from the owners Laurence and Nicholas, and brief history of the beautiful building we were invited to our rooms. We enjoyed much the hospitality, tips to visit in the neighbourhood and restaurants to enjoy dinner. Last but not least the breakfast with local specialities was very nice

What a treasure of a place to stay! It was a 7 minute drive into Boulogne, but utter peace in the beautiful grounds. Laurence & Nicholas were wonderful hosts, even making our restaurant booking for us. Our room was lovely spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing.

The hotel was a nice mix of old fashioned to match the chateau it's in and modern design. Our room was a smaller one on the upper floor, but it was still comfortable and had a large bathroom. The beds were super comfy, I want one at home! We really enjoyed the relaxed breakfast buffet. The owner was very kind and helpful, despite us not speaking much French.

A true gem of a place, excellently located for the channel ports and tunnel but in a secluded location, however Boulogne is only a 10 Minute drive away. A warm welcome from owners, one English one French. They have renovated this wonderful old house beautifully with style and comfort combined. The double rooms on the first floor also have amazing bathrooms. Wonderful breakfast with local produce. Nothing was too much trouble and would highly recommend this lovely place with its flock of peacocks in the grounds. Just one thing to be aware of is that the rooms are accessed by a ( beautiful)staircase,so not suitable for those who cannot do stairs. However our bags were carried up for us by Nick, without us asking! Thank you, we will certainly be back!

beautifully situated. very close to Boulogne. gorgeous gardens. delightful rooms - extremely well appointed. very comfortable beds. there is a small kitchen should you wish to stay in and cook. loved the peacocks. delightful hosts. hot tub a real bonus!

A wonderful country house. The interior decor is very clean and up to a high standard. Laurence was very accommodating and friendly. A mini oasis of calm.

The continental breakfast was a bit limited but good quality. I think you would benefit from providing more options such as choice of cereal, hot food food menu, offering fruit etc.

So peaceful, yet just 5 minutes drive from town. Many thanks to Lawrence and Nicholas for our stay. Beautiful house with large property. It feels very rural, even though you are so close to the town. Stunningly refurbished interior and spectacular bathroom. A bed that I would have been happy never to leave.
