Wonderful setting in the heart of Kaysersberg. Quiet location. Not too big. Garden rooms were well appointed and with a pretty outlook over the neighbouring vineyards. The food was excellent (breakfast delicious and varied)...especially liked the nice touch of a free pot of homemade conserve and huge traditional brioche and loaf of homemade bread! We ate in the Winstub for dinner one night (essential to book in advance). It is also where breakfast is taken. We had a very reasonably priced 3 course meal which was outstanding. Highly recommend going there.

Pool was too small to be of any use in terms of doing lengths. It was expensive and nothing in the mini bar was free... not even the water!

lovely suite with great views. A great living space. The front desk staff were excellent and friendly. Especially Sarah and Andre.

FOOD! the hotel has 2 restaurants, overseen by a famous chef. The fancy restaurant had nonfood we wanted to eat for free. The other one, nicly presented, had little we wanted,( we did find 2 acceptable items) and the service was snobbish, snotty and condescending. Nous sommes en France! Breakfast-the only hotel In a 2 MONTH trip where breakfast was not included!- was an absurd 39 euros per person!!!~ We preferred the local boulangerie almost next door, open at 6.30am, with wonderful fresh croissants and coffee for 7 euros total!!!

Beds super comfortable, very good location in Kaysersberg. Fantastic food at both gourmet restaurant and ‚normal‘ restaurant.

Wifi quite poor, sometimes did not work I feel the photos were a bit misleading since the views of the beautiful countryside were actually taken from the back of the hotel behind the parking lot. False information about opening times for bakery, was disappointed that I was unable to buy bread at the end of my stay.

The hotel has two restaurants, the Vinstub serving country fare. La Table d'Olivier Nasti serving gourmet Alsacien food. The food at the Vinstub was tasty, the service a little hurried and the space was a bit tight. At the La Table d'Olivier N the food was perfect , the service impeccable and the wine selection excellent. We had a real nice ceremonial dinner not to be for gotten. The establishment has two well deserved Michelin stars . Unlike food served in similar etsblishmenst in the US, the food was not just well presented, it was recognizable for what it is and did not have the generic haute cuisine taste soon to be forgotten. It was worth a detour from Burgundy.

Nothing comes to mind.

It is a family-run business, to start with. It means an extra layer of emotions and quirks and designs and flexibility which are missing in standardized hotel business, no matter how many stars. The staff were nice, while we also got a boost with French as the default language. The building was a natural, integral part of Kaysersberg, which in turn is wonderful medieval village in Alsace. The food served at hotel restaurants was ranging between very good and exceptional. Maybe a bit too slow food, but then again, where is the rush? On my map, worth going back as destination on its own.

the rooms were very stylish and the bed was comfortable

as it’s supposed to be a 5 star hotel, the tea offerings should be better (better quality, choice and brand name). I would have appreciated a welcome basket in the room with fruit, snacks or something. the towels were also quite basic as were the shampoos etc. Again for the price, would have expected better quality.

Lovely property in charming small town. Unique decor with interesting art and artifacts. Well located for day trips if you have a car. We had the five course set menu in the main restaurant one night and while it was pricey, it was sensational.

It seemed under staffed. For example, the bartender was unable to serve us in a reasonable amount of time one evening because he was having to work the restaurant dinner service. And $40+ per person for breakfast seemed over priced

The moment my wife and I arrived we were made to feel at home and very welcome! Our room had a most beautiful view of the adjacent vinyard-hillside and the midieval tower located on the premises. There are two first class restaurants as well and we had a wonderful dinner in their more casual dinning room. We were very please with the value and location within the town of Kaysersberg as well as being very close to many wineries and lovely small villages in the region.

What a wonderful stay! We had the pleasure of dining there and experiencing a culinary marvel. On mornings the breakfast consisted of a variety of regional delicacies, with some local jam and cake. We cannot express how highly we recommend this location. The owners and employees deserve praise for the beautiful setting, views, and service they provided.
