The hotel is obviously going through a management change. The new staff are doing their best, and there is a very articulate sense of welcome. All in all, not bad: centrally located, very friendly reception personnel, breakfast (10 euros extra) featuring local produce.

Very little storage space (my make shift closet only had one shelf). No mini fridge in the room. The attention of room service is somewhat misplaced: they felt free to move my things around including the laptop, the toothbrush and the medicine bag, while forgetting to refill the soap dispenser or taking care of the black fungus in the toilet bowl.

Entire staff were welcoming and helpful, my room was on the lower floor, well appointed and very clean, it was served by a lift. I found it very comfortable and noise level if any, didn’t interrupt my sleep. Room temperature was warm thoughout my stay… Coffee excellent,

Nothing, I was completely satisfied.weather wise it was cold, rain and windy but we have no control over that. Shall return in summer.

The location was most convenient as Lille Flandres station is just across the road! It's also in easy reach of the old town (a 5 minute walk to the belfry) and next door to a good kebab takeaway. The reception and housekeeping staff are very polite and outstandingly welcoming and helpful. Thank you all!

The double bed in the pop room is a little short for tall people, but the deco is lovely and the ensuite, although compact, is very functional and spotlessly clean.

Location is great, everything was within walking distance. It's value for the money hotel, rooms are clean but a bit run down. Bed was really confortable. Breakfast was ok, had options: 2 types of salami, 2 types of chees, hard-boiles eggs,several types of jam, cereals, juces, milk, coffee (not good- from the machine)

You can hear people in their rooms and on the coridore and the noise from the street, but i used ear plugs and resloved that issue. The eating area is really small.

Our room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, with plenty of room to unpack etc. It was reached via narrow and winding corridors and stairs – no prob for us but check accessibility if this is an issue. Only a minute or two from Lille-Flandres station, handy for Lille-Europe, and a short walk from the historic centre. Entrance and reception are rather narrow and cramped, but it’s fine once you get inside. Nice staff too.

Friendly staff, and a clean, basic room that offered all that I need for one night.

I missed the sign on the entrance at first, but that was my fault. There was quite a lot of noise in the corridor/from other rooms before midnight (but not after). I asked for a wake-up call, but that got lost somewhere in the change-over of receptionists.

the location is perfect! it’s close to birth train stations in Lille so day trips to other cities in France are super convenient and quick. Also great location for sightseeing in Lille. Everything is close by and there is a lovely French bakery 3 min walk from the hotel. the staff were very friendly. Luggage storage is available and there is someone at reception 24hrs. Rooms were always clean and fresh towels everyday. Great value for money.

Exceeded expectations. Staff are so friendly and helpful. A welcome mini pain au chocolat was great for the kids after a long journey. The rooms were perfect for our stay and we got to be on the same floor. Really glad we had the breakfast, it was great. Location was fantastic.

Good location if a little difficult to find the entrance which was hidden between other businesses. Very friendly and helpful staff.

As I said, it was as if the entrance was hiding! And the access to the rooms was a little rambling.

Great location, easy to find when coming from train station, within walking distance to city centre shopping street.

Lack of toiletries and cutleries, had to keep going down to reception to request, although the friendly staff at the reception made the trip down worth it ;)
