The hotel architecture is impressive and it is a very clever conversion. Our room was ideal for a family of four adults. One bed on a mezzanine,, one in a separate room. Very modern shower room with a very efficient shower. The spa is an added bonus and the hotel's central location worked for us. Despite the central location it was quiet on a Tuesday night in September.

It was difficult to bring the temperature down to a comfortable level in the main room although it was a very hot day. Access into the pool is a bit tricky for anyone with mobility problems (no handrail). The choices in the restaurant were very limited and some food was bland an ill balanced.

Great location, centre of Loches, looking over at the Chateau, Collegiate church, Lanyser Museum and Dungeon up on the ridge. Good room with balcony with seats and a small table. Parking available in square in front of the hotel (which has two public Modulo EV charging points). Good breakfast. Has a Spa and indoor pool. Helpful staff on reception.

Parking could be tricky in peak season. Breakfast room quite bland and cramped. No restaurant service Sunday or Monday evenings - Monday evening out of peak season there are only a couple of options to eat in Loches so plan carefully.

Hotel was impressive in terms of the site, central location but quiet and the pool was lovely. Room was really comfortable and well equipped. Loches was a beautiful place with lots to see within easy distance and not touristy at all. Staff were friendly and attentive. We got extra towels as there weren't enough in the room.

The food!! In terms of the breakfast - we came down at 10am and there was little choice left with most of the cooked food congealed and no croissants or bread left. Not worth £16! We also had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was not very good value.

Staff were very helpful, and following the change of room upon arrival due to a mishap with thier booking system due to a very bad storm, we were upgraded to a better room at no extra cost for the rest of the stay. The public car park infront of the hotel is very convenient, at no cost. The Hotel restaurant is also very recommendable. Although very sceptical about Loches before going there, we were very happy we chose this location, very well located close to Chenonceau and Amboise,

The hotel is new and extremely well designed taking into consideration that is was the House of Justice in the past, it is super modern but with the history still remaining in the building, it also has great touches in the room like specific controls on the bathroom mirror, the airconditioning/heating was ultra modern in design, very quiet and controls worked very well, the shower size was great. Just the towel rail had a 30mins boost but that was not hot enough so you had to re-start this a few times. We had the standard room and the size was perfect with a huge window - very elegantly looking - they provided really great fluffy towels and bathropes/slippers. The pool was very nice and the atmosphere and pool at the right temperature, together with the steam-room, the pool is quite small (I think 4x8mtr) so when the hotel is busy at 5pm on the day it is not so easy to use. The breakfast is fine it is a buffet breakfast, you have a selection of many items although, no fresh orange juice. As for the restaurant, we booked half-pension, we had choices of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts, overall it was a little dissapointing and quite particular dishes except for the desserts, but this is an individuals taste. I would definitely come back again, perhaps trying the restaurant but choosing your a la carte.

We wanted to use the steam room in the morning and it did not work - after asking for it to be put on (3 times) they stated that it was on, so we waited, but it did not come on - when we checked out and raised it again, I was advised that it was a sunday and there are not technicians working (so it seemed that either they could not put it on or it was not working) - however there was no apologies or anything from reception, which was a pity as this would have just made it all ok - even it was not working.....

The hotel (ex - Palais de Justice) is newly renovated, the renovation is perfectly done. The historic features have been preserved but equipped with modern technology. The rooms are beautiful and large. On the ground floor there is an indoor pool with glass front and a steam bath. Free parking. A visit to the beautiful Loches is worth it just for the hotel.

The selection at breakfast for an expensive 16.50 € is ok, but even good for France ;-) The furnishings in the breakfast room are poorly thought out. There are only the plates, cutlery and glasses on the tables. If someone wants a new clean plate or a new glass, each guest helps himself from a freshly laid table where no guests are sitting yet. The staff then have to set them again.

The hotel has been created in a beautiful old palais de justice building in the centre of Loches. There is a large, free car park directly in front of the entrance. The Queen room we booked was well-equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with an extensive, good quality buffet including bacon and eggs as well as continental choices. The coffee machine provided good quality drinks. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also very enjoyable. For us, an added bonus was that we could take our dog along too.

Despite being on the top floor, there was some noise from a party when we went to bed at about 11pm - sounded like a group of people on the bar patio area at the front of the hotel. I noticed this has been a cause for complaint previously? It wasn't a major problem for us but may be at times? We never achieved wifi connection in the room. Unfortunately the room information booklet didn't provide the correct information! A code is required to log in and the code is on the room key card holder. Instructions could easily be much clearer.

Reception staff were very helpful in email correspondence before our arrival and in finding a suitable room for my disabled wife and myself when we arrived. The room was good and had all the facilities we needed. It is a very beautiful hotel. The view of the city from the terrace where we had our dinner was exceptional and the quality of the food at dinner and breakfast was very good.

The restaurant service was very poor. We gave our order to a young man, whom we did not see again. A bottle of wine arrived that we had not ordered, and we had to ask twice to get our aperitifs instead. Starters then arrived that we had not ordered and instead we waited at our table for over an hour before our correct starters arrived. We spoke to four members of the waiting staff while we were at the table, but there seemed to be little communication between them and a lack of organization of the service.

Easy parking with no charges. Beautiful drinking/dining terrace. Great location.

Menu very very limited. My wife and I ordered beef as a main course on our second night. The cost of the main course was 72 Euros for both. When it arrived neither of us could believe what had been put in front of us. My medium steak was covered in fat, and impossible to cut and chew. There was a large bone across the plate with no meat on it. My wife's steak was well done to the point of being charred. It too was impossible to either cut or eat. Having had this put in front of us, it totally spoilt our night. It was however taken off the bill.

Location of the hotel is excellent, just a two minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Free parking available right in front of the hotel. Beautiful, very clean room and bathroom. Good choice for breakfast, tea and coffee is served, we prefer to help ourselves, but the service is very good. The spa and pool are currently closed and the restaurant is closed on a Sunday and Monday evening

Breakfast is quite pricey
