L’hostellerie du chateau is beautifully decorated and furnished with traditional antique furnishings. The garden offered a swimming pool and ample space for relaxation on outdoor loungers and chairs and made for warm lazy late afternoons after a great day at the nearby war museum, local sites of Peronne and the many surrounding towns and cities. Gaille and William were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble to make our stay so memorable. William is an amazing cook and we would totally recommend dinner at L’hostellerie du chateau. Delicious food and great wine and very reasonable. We will certainly stay here again.

Nothing at all to dislike

This was a lovely last night to our holiday (chosen for being on our route to Calais). The property is very stylish - everything about the decor has been carefully thought out and beautifully done. What really made this a highlight for us, however, was the warmth of our hosts, William and Gaelle. William is a fantastic chef so the dinner was superb, and he delights in talking to his guests, so our evening meal was probably the best of the whole holiday, in particular for the way he treated our children. I had also forgotten that the Hostellerie has a swimming pool, which occupied our children for half of their waking hours there; and our (enormous) bedroom also had a large Smart TV, which enabled us to spend the late evening snuggled up watching 'Gladiator' as a family. Very special!

Nothing could have been better.

The house is a gem. Tastefully decorated and furnished in the grand old style. Our hosts were probably the friendliest, most helpful couple you could imagine. They immediately put us at ease and really couldn’t do more to make our stay as pleasant as is possible.

It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room to make a coffee when we wanted. But that is being unnecessarily and undeservingly fussy.

For our stopover we spend a night here with our 2 boys (4 and 8) and had a wonderful time. The place is beautifully renovated, the room was spacious and nicely decorated; we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the garden and we were lucky to have diner homemade by the owners. William and Gaelle are super welcoming and made our stay one we will never forget. We definitely recommend this place. Thanks!

Gaelle and William were exceptional host, warm and accommodating. William’s cooking is amazing and their model of dinners with other guests is charming. My girlfriend and I had an excellent time at the Hostellerie du Chateau and will be coming back in the future.

Everything was good, genuinely. Location was great, hotel was great, garden was charming, food was perfect, hosts were so nice,

William (the host) is very pleasant and an excellent chef. Dinner was very good. Our room was massive and the bed very comfortable. Love the old house and the cat is adorable. Breakfast with pancakes and bacon and eggs

nothing springs to mind

The room was enormous with excellent views of the countryside. The couple who ran it were very friendly, even helping us with our luggage up the stairs. Very nice bathroom, like a big room of its own with a nice bathtub. Decent location to get to CDG the next day. We also visited Amiens which wasn't too far away.

Not much around the actual chateau. As you'd imagine with a grand old house, you can hear everything; doors closing and people walking on floorboards. We still managed to sleep well though.

beautifully decorated, spacious room with very comfortable bed, friendly owners (who can cook a great 3 course dinner at request), delicious breakfast, very good value for money

creaky floors (can be expected as it is an old house), have to pay €20 to make use of pool and €40 for 1 hour in jacuzzi (but even including paying for pool the value for money is good)

Everything was really great. The couple are very kind and always willing to help. Very comfortable and clean rooms and very good breakfast. Probably the best place they've stayed. I would definitely choose it again.
