The reviews I read were mixed, but the hotel seems to have made many recent improvements. The lovely woman working the front desk was extremely professional and accommodated my check-in nearly an hours before the official posted time. They gave me a room on the ground level to accommodate my heavy baggage, as the elevator was being repaired. The room window looked out directly onto the SNCF train tracks -- but I never heard anything. There was a new soundproofing window installed over the old one, suggesting that they have made improvements in this regard. The design of the lobby was very cool, suitable for drinking and lounging, and also contains a hip brasserie. It was a 30 second walk from the front of the train station (Gare d'Avignon Centre -- not the Gate TGV)! and in that regard as convenient as could be.

The location of the hotel is just perfect (just in front of the railway station) What is REALLY EXCEPTIONNAL IS THE BREAKFAST : lots of choice, products of all sorts you can imagine. (sugared or salted products) HOME MADE Products, high quality ("Miel en rayon" just incredible !) All that for such a reasonable price. You can have breakfast, just coming in, and not necessarily using the hotel. That is good information for train travellers to appreciate a high-quality breakfast before travelling instead of getting things from automatic machines (not good and expensive) in the corridor of the railway station The people at reception were very welcoming, either in late evening or in the morning I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ALL TRAVELLERS

The man at the desk that did my check-in was very kind/ nice, BUT he made a serious mistake, he forgot to ask me if i had my car with me, and parked at the hotel parking lot. They have a code to get in and out of the parking lot, and i had to leave the hotel at 3:30AM to catch a plane and didn’t have the code. I rang the bell 3-4 times and no one answered until a man came walking (not in a hotel clothing) and gave me the code.

The room was very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

You need to add garbage/ recycling bins in the area where you have vending machines and tables. When I paid for the hot water from the machine to make baby formula the water was really dirty and less than half a cup for 1.5 EUR🥴. I appreciated that staff member brought me water from the kitchen when I addressed my concern.

Earlier airport shuttle to meet the early departure (06hr00) of the first plane to Paris would have been helpful. Taxis charge a standard fare of 20-30 euros for a 3 minute ride. We chose to walk to the terminal (~12-15 minutes) at 04hr30 but it was somewhat arduous with all the luggage.

The location was good for our plans, since we came to Montpellier for one day only and then moved on to another place. So, such close proximity to the airport could be very good, but a bit inconvenient for those who want to explore Montpellier. The breakfast was very good - it was a self serve with fresh juice, coffee, croissants, yoghurts, toasts, jam, cheese and so on. Everything up for grabs, pretty much what you expect from a breakfast.

A bit surprising was, that the room I was given, was for people with special needs (which I did not ask for). It didn't cause me any inconvenience, so I can't complain.

It served its purpose of being near the airport for a morning flight. Good restaurant in the building for dinner. Basic room and facilities but fine for a night Bright cheery decor

The walk from the airport car-hire where we returned a car was a little farther than anticipated and we struggled with suitcases in very hot weather (32+ degrees and sunny)

Excellent location being a 5 min walk from the airport and next door to a reasonably priced car hire company.

Swimming pool not available when using the Ibis budget, although we did manage to get through the locked door and the pool was freezing!

Very close to airport - only 10min walking from the airport. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Loved the hotel style / deco. Room small , but perfect for short stays. Very clean. Comfy bed , Soft towels , great toiletries. Would stay again. Thank you

Small rooms, part of staff not well trained, breakfast only fitting the people, who can cope with a piece of bread, & something sweet. Other than that I ate only bread and cheese as nothing else not-sweet was available.
