Beautiful historic property in a gorgeous setting, wonderfully and lovingly restored by the owners. They’ve such an eye for detail, and a real concern for guest comfort. Great mattress and shower. and lovely breakfast. We loved meeting Jean Matthieu and Gregory; they are exceptional people. And they’ve created an opportunity for people from all around the world to connect. we also loved meeting the three special felines and the chickens. Only a 5-minute drive into Montignac and Lascaux, with many nearby Dordogne activities. Although you might be tempted to just stay where you are!

"I can't recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful room, complete with fresh flowers and stunning views. Jean, our gracious host, made us feel right at home with his warm welcome and impeccable attention to detail. Breakfast was a true highlight, featuring fresh eggs from the chickens outside, homemade jams, breads, and pastries that were simply scrumptious. What's more, the company was just as lovely as the food. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, Jean, for making our stay so memorable."

Property has so much charm ! It is very beautiful with old classic rooms and a great garden to enjoy your breakfast or a good book under the sun and silence. Breakfast was amazing. Homemade jams with fruits from the garden / neighbouring farm - so good !

Only thing is to remember is that it’s an old vintage house so the floor creaks so you can hear a little noise sometime. But it adds to the French charm :)

A lovely location, its visual appeal highlighted by the hosts' artistic sense . The accommodations were very comfortable.,the hosts gracious and responsive to our interests and tastes. Great memory.

Unfortunately , through our own negligence in not reading all the information, we did not realize that having a car would have facilitated our visits to our interests. Nevt time!

accommodation: room was delightful, comfortable bed, charmingly decorated and stylish; the surroundings restful. lovely breakfast. in addition to bread,croissant and delicious jam (pineapple one day) I had freshly made eggs from the resident chickens great hosts. the hosts were helpful, informative and easy to talk to

beautiful location, total silence at night. big room with good bed and bathroom with rain shower. breakfast in the morning in the garden under the magnolia tree was tops. nice owners that make you feel very welcome.

We loved our stay at Le Clos situated in genuine French countryside. We were greeted by our lovely host. The house was beautifully renovated and we enjoyed a local produce breakfast served in the gardens. Thank you to JM and Greg.

Beautiful renovated house and rooms. Very friendly hosts and a great breakfast in the garden. We got also a very good resturant recommendation and reservation by the host in a small town nearby. All in all it was was an amazing stay!

Newly, and carefully renovated rooms, keeping the charm from 18th century and adding modern facilities. Comfortable beds and very good bathroom. The host was very attentive and helpul, outstanding in my experience. Highly recommended place to stay!!
