Very nice and charming hotel. Nice decorated, great breakfast, very nice swimming pool. Dinner at the restaurant very good. Everything was perfect. I will definitely go back when I travel to the Côte d’Azur.

The street down to Nice. There is one street with a lot of turns but the owner told us that there was another, more easy street , with less turns, which I took afterwards to drive to Nice. That one was ok. But i wanted an hotel outside Nice, so it is actually not a problem of the hotel…. I just wanted to explain that there is no easy street :-)

The staff is very friendly and professional. Great pool. Good breakfast with gluten and lactose free options. Very nice dinner Beautiful and well kept garden.

The pool doesn't have shower facilities, and the access to the pool had some uninviting water to cross. Breakfast seems to be on a first come, first serve for some cakes and cold meat; but plenty of very nice bread, pastries, fruits, honey, and jams. It could happen that you have to ask for mugs and plates; but the staff was really helpful and attentive. The bed was a bit noisy when you were just sitting on it or turning, but comfortable. The WiFi in the room was interrupted a few times.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The swimming pool was relaxing and elegant. The bathroom was excellently designed and the views from the bathroom windows were stunning. Really appreciated the tea and coffee in the room.

At dinner both of our main courses were overcooked (maybe being British they assumed we prefer all our meat and fish overcooked despite ordering a rare steak and thon mi-cuit) and the dessert portions were rather small given the price point. There were some good things but overall dinner was disappointing and it seemed we were treated less favourably than the locals who had come to dine.

My recent stay at Auberge du Redier was a mixed experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the inviting pool, providing a refreshing escape during the warm days. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast; the options were limited, and the quality fell short of expectations. Despite the breakfast setback, the hotel's location and pool make it a reasonable choice for those prioritizing leisure and outdoor amenities while exploring the beautiful surroundings of Nice.

The poor breakfast. The road from Nice to the Hotel was difficult.

We booked because we were going to the Rugby World Cup in Nice and wanted a quiet place outside Nice for two nights. The drive up to the hotel is interesting - great views on a windy and narrow mountain road, not for the nervous!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurant (Flo) when we returned late from the match and the restaurant was just closing. Food at breakfast and dinner (wine selections great) were excellent. And we were amused to find the owners and some staff had lived in Hong Kong - one of our homes. We didn't have time (or the weather) to explore the local village or area but looked interesting. And the pool also looked inviting. Would be perfect for a long relaxing and indulgent weekend in the summer.

We understand the owners are recent. The building is lovely but the rooms are on the small side and need some updating/investment. Not an issue for us as we were there for only two days and used the communal areas which are very pleasant and welcoming.

It’s a beautiful hotel with an elegant appearance. The pool was nice and the breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed a lot. We used a paid meal twice in the afternoon and in the evening and that was also a nice experience. It takes a while to reach the hotel, because you have to drive uphill for a ‘long’ time, but after that it is a surprise that you are in such a beautiful place.

I don't want to call it a negative, but I was sometimes bothered by the people in the room next to me. So the rooms are noisy. In addition, the room also needs an upgrade here and there with regard to the floor and the tiles in the bathroom.

All the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to be helpful. The swimming pool and gardens were a really brilliant bonus. The food was very good, breakfast was very good and dinner was too, although it would be good to have had a change in the menu if you’re there for more than two nights as we were.

There is nothing to dislike about this property. We should have booked a room with a balcony though

Breakfast was great, dinner too, very helpful staff, they prepared a sandwich for us when we arrived late on the first night and all restaurants were closed.

Because it was overcast some of the days, a heated pool would’ve been nice. The place is ideal if you have a car, it’s a little annoying taking the bus every day but that’s our fault probably. Lovely alternative if you don’t want to stay in the busy centre of Nice.

Beautiful property, clean, great staff. Busy winding road to access was no problem, plenty of parking, lovely pool-not much sun in late afternoon due to large trees, beautiful lounge & dining areas, stunning veranda.

Not enough flat surface to put suitcases if not unpacking due to short stay only but plenty of wardrobe space. No soap at basin, only in shower.

The whole premises are beautiful. The parking is really big so that is a plus if you are coming by car. The stuff is super nice and the pool is a nice addition during the hot days. The hotel even upgraded our room for free as they had a better room with AC available. The rooms are a bit on the old school side when it comes to the furniture, carpets, etc, but it goes with the whole feel of a house in a mountain.

Everything was great
