The front staff here was absolutely fantastic! What a lovely, friendly, professional, welcoming staff - they had such grace when a very rude guest made a scene, and they also managed to make our family feel at home and were also helpful with tips/directions. The rooms were rather large compared to other rooms we have had in Paris and elsewhere in Europe(we had two rooms - one for two people, and one room for three with three twin beds and still plenty of room to move around and keep suitcases open), the shower was lovely, and we were surprised to see AC! The location was incredible - within walking distance to TONS of shopping, restaurants, and plenty of quick food places as well. Of course we could quickly make our way to the Notre Dame, and public transport. If/when we return, we will most certainly return to the Hotel Belloy St. Germain.

Staff was great and helpful. Room was nice and cosy. Location was great, close to Notre Damme de Paris, and like 40 min walking distance of all major attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby and lots of various cuisines to choose from. Also plenty of shops arround and supermarkets. If you fancy fast travel (or a quick trip to Versailles 30min) the underground is at 5 min walk.

Some might say the room is on the small side but it didn't bother us; what did was the fact that the toilet room was separated from the shower/sink room which we found very unhygienic because you contaminate all the handles in order to wash your hands after using the facility. They have a very tiny "kitchen" and the Breakfast is more on the continental side (it costs about 16€): eg. Only hard boiled eggs available, 2-3 salami, smoked salmon was served on one day only; also if you arrive after 9 your options will be very limited. The lady serving the breakfast was very sweet and helpful, so kudos to her.

The manager who greeted us was friendly and efficient - pulling out all the stops to resolve a plumbing issue with one of our rooms within a couple of hours, despite it being after 7pm. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms very clean. The position of the hotel is brilliant and I would recommend booking one of the slightly larger rooms to make a very central stay excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

The décor of the reception area does not match the standard of the rooms or the breakfast area. Maybe it could be smartened up a little? But I was delighted from there on in! This is just a very minor complaint.

-Room was big enough for 3 -near metro station -Room and bathroom was clean enough (still big curtains,carpet floor and fabric bed headboard makes you feel there is dust everywhere) -there is coffee machine in the room and fridge. -Big windows for fresh air -separate bed for kiddo

-Breakfast was expensive (16euro per person) comparing to cafes so We didnt choose during our stay. -You expect to see complimentary bottle of water in the rooms but there wasn’t any. -there was no slipper also

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by cheerful staff and assigned to a beautiful room with a view on both sides, and a crib ready for our baby to sleep in. We left Paris and checked out of the hotel for 3 days and we had forgot our passports in the safe of our room, thankfully as soon as I called the hotel they informed me that they had our passports safely kept until our return! We want to give a special thanks to Nabil who was super helpful and friendly and recommended some great places to dine in. We will definitely be back to Hotel Belloy.

The room is small but has everything we need and they were happy to keep our baby stroller in the storage downstairs to free up space for us in the room.

The room was very clean and made up well everyday. The location is great. Easy to get to many areas of Paris. The staff were helpful when we requested information. The lift works. The bed very comfortable and the bathrooms clean. They have done well with a small space. Windows open and aircon works. The views from the street are fab.

This is Paris so remember, accommodation is not big, but these rooms are very, very small. 13 square meters. The rooms are also very close and if your neighbors aren’t the quiet type, you’ll hear them. Getting clothes out our bags was a big challenge 😂 but worth it to experience a Paris life. Note: there were major roadworks when we were there with big machinery operating throughout some of the nights.

I loved how the doors to the balcony opened up . It enabled us to get some fresh air and look out to the streets below. There was hot chocolate available in the lobby as well as a self serve coffee machine. The location was superb. Easy walking distance to restaurants/cafes and attractions. I highly recommend this Hotel.

There was only one lift and it was very small.

I loved everything. Even before I arrived, I had a change in plans with accommodations and the hotel was MORE than willing to help with my last minute changes & ensure that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The location of the hotel was PERFECT for soooo many eateries & places to see. My photographer heart was VERY VERY HAPPY!!!

I can’t think of anything negative but If I HAD to pick one… it was probably a miscommunication on my end. I asked for 2 “hot” eggs with breakfast — thinking that’s how I order hard boiled eggs since the gentleman I placed an order with the day prior repeated my order… instead I got 2 raw eggs. That was a comical surprise when I went to crack it! I was DEFINITELY not upset or mad in the slightest, but it was the one and only hiccup the entire trip & it was a nice little laugh on my last morning! :)

Boutique hotel with everything you need. Even had cereal and oat milk for myself as a vegan

Little bit of attitude from one of the concierge when we suggested we might check the breakfast first before paying, considering we weren’t sure if there would be any vegan options. A little bit rude - smirking and shaking his head as if we had offended him. The rest of the team were lovely though and overall we had a fantastic experience.

I like the position, the shape of the property, it's modest size, the physical layout of the ground floor, the use of locally appropriate high quality modern art/photography - good breakfasts - but especially on this trip the extremely helpful and flexible attitudes of the staff, particularly on this occasion when we were unhappy with the physical location of a particular room ,(by a lift, without an exterior window) and quickly got us into a much nicer more suitable room, without fiss.

The situation of the original room in which we found ourselves, without any prior indications of it's limitations. Otherwise All was fine and had a very positive influence on the perceived quality of our time in this part of the Latin Quarter
