Very central Notre Dame 10 minute walk. The Metro to and from CDG airport right outside the front door of the hotel. Lots of restaurants near by our favorites were Taverne de cluny (live Jazz) on the street behind hotel and La jacobine (you need to book) 10 minutes walk. Previous guests mentioned noise - we had no problem with the noise; effective double glazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The young reception staff were excellent. Upon arrival the young receptionist took our name. The older lady who checked us in was downright rude. She didn’t look at us; nor welcome us or acknowledgment of our presence. The only interaction was to hand us the key; tell us our room number and asked if we wanted breakfast. In the morning again no welcome. Clearly, she shouldn’t be in a customer service role.

Location was perfect - easy RER access from airport. Great food nearby. Surprised that our room was a good size and the quintessentially Parisian room (wedgewood blue) and lovely marble tiled bathroom was a bonus. SUPER QUIET! The bed was also very comfortable and there was a great selection of pillows. Thanks for the safe and the umbrellas in reception.

The shower did drip when off and overnight water got onto the bathroom floor - a hazard. So we kept a floor towel in place to limit water.

Well, there is an elevator between the reception and the rooms, but there the reception is in the first floor. So, you need to carry your luggage by YOURSELF to the reception. No one helped us to do that.

Hotel Cluny Square is well situated on the corner of Boulevards St Michel and St Germain. There is a bus lane outside the hotel so drop off in a private car is dofficult and the entrance is very small so not easy to find among the restaurants and other shops. The access is tricky for older folk or anyone with disabilities as the reception is up stairs on floor 1. The lift is tiny and we were on floor 5 (503) a corner room very clean and wiaint with a view of the Eifel Tower. The windows open as it does get hot but the air con is good. Bed was comfortable. Again if you don’t like small lifts try a room on a lower floor! Breakfast is served on trays in a small room next to reception its okay but you might prefer a local cafe of which there are plenty as you are in the latin quarter.

The breakfast area is too cramped and the access isn’t good the shower access in the bath again for people with mobility there are problems.

- Room looks as shown in the pictures. - Great Location right in the center. - Few monuments are very close. - Underground/ Metro near by. - Small tuck shop behind the hotel - Restaurants are behind the hotel, and they are good - Great staff. - Beds are comfy

- Reception is on the first floor, and the lift starts only from there. You will need to carry your bags 1 floor on spiral staircase. - No Tea/Coffee. It would be nice to have at least instant ones, we had to buy them. (matters only for someone who needs it as soon as you wake up :) - Not that I didn't like it; I knew this before booking the room. The room size is tiny but manageable for two people. It makes sense if you're there just to sleep and not spend time in your room. (This is typical for Paris and cities like NYC and LDN.)

The room is a bit small. The bathroom is quite small. The reception is on the second floor, and the elevator starts only from there. So walk from the street level to reception with suitcases.

Clean nice and great location

There is a lift but not stared from the ground floor!!!! The lift starts from the first floor (reception) where you need to carry your heavy luggage up to this floor. It might be very inconvenient If you have big luggage, like me 😔.

Great location 5’ walking distance from Notre Dame! Metro and train station right outside the hotel, near the lively neighbourhood of saint Germain! Peaceful at night although located on the boulevard of saint Michel. Supermarket bakeries and cafes are located very close. The room was clean, the bathroom comfortable and the bed was really soft! Exactly what we needed to relax after walking all day to explore Paris!

The room is not really spacious so we definitely needed to put all our clothes in the wardrobe as there is no space to open a big suitcase. But once we settled in and put the luggage on top of the wardrobe, the space that was released was enough. Just one thing that needs to be replaced is the toilet brush. The bowl was so tight on the brush that you need to hold it with your hands and force the brush out of it resulting in dirty water spreading out. Really disgusting.

Very clean and comfortable hotel in excellent location. The room was small, but no smaller than is average for Parisian hotels. It is on a busy intersection so if windows are opened it is noisy, but the windows, when closed, provide excellent soundproofing. Traffic did not disturb me at all. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon worked well. Housekeeping staff were lovely. The nearest Metro station is right outside the door and the RER to the airport is close. I managed to walk everywhere - didn't need to use transport except to and from the airport.

As reported by many, the reception staff are a bit abrupt, but were happy to assist if questions were asked - just don't expect them to fawn over you or assist unless asked.

Fabulous location close to tons of restaurants (not including the McDonalds!) and a corner grocery store but we rarely heard any sounds from the street. The room was Paris sized but wonderful with a lovely balcony and well designed to use all available space. The bed was super comfy. Close to tons of sites: across the street from Musee de Cluny, around the corner from Notre Dame, and a short walk to the Pantheon and Jardin du Luxembourg. Super close to the Metro and we had air conditioning!

Nothing major. Our air conditioning was turned off by housekeeping taking time to cool the room back down. And be prepared to haul your luggage up a fairly steep circular staircase to get to reception. I knew this ahead of time based on other reviews, so it wasn't a surprise, but it's not for the timid.
