Wonderful staff - excellent location ideal for attractions like Sacre Coeur and a really warm and friendly neighbourhood Not expensive at all and there is a beautiful church nearby the Saint Ambroise church- steeped in history and both churches absolutely free to visit also the Luna Park hotel is an ideal location for the Metro The room was well cleaned daily and all round reception staff throughout the night too and a wonderful restaurant next door and cheap but lovely shops and supermarket nearby An easily affordable way to do Paris on a shoestring 🙂

There was no breakfast in the hotel but the area is full of cafeterias and bakeries where one can have breakfast. The hotel is well positioned, it has a 24-hour reception desk and the people working there are very helpful. There was a vending machine selling bottles of water, refreshments and chocolates, and also another machine for coffee. There was heating and warm water, and the rooms are cleaned every day.

One night it was kind of noisy, but this had nothing to do with the hotel itself, it had to do with the clients who are not always thoughtful of other people living in the place. I would also propose that they change some of the towels, they were clean and washed of course, no doubt, but they looked too old and somewhat worn out.

It was in a great area that wasn’t so touristy so there were affordable boulangeries etc. but such a nice neighborhood, it’s so close to multiple train stops which take you to all the Paris highlights. The bedding and towels were clean. Staff were friendly, and the room was clean and they came everyday to make the bed. You hand in your key when you leave for the day so don’t have to worry about losing the key. Shower was great and there was a hairdryer. There’s a laundromat right next door and a vegetable/fruit seller on the corner, and a supermarket close by. Would definitely stay here again.

There was no kettle or fridge. Really wanted to be able to make tea and couldn’t. Was a bit noisy from time to time.

I grudgingly booked this hotel despite the poor rating and was shocked to find that it was actually fantastic. The location is perfect - there are bakeries, café and bistros, laundromat, fruit market, supermarket, butcher etc within steps of the hotel. The area is upbeat and very nice (at least judging by Canadian standards). The Filles du Calvaire metro station is a 5 minute walk as well as the 91 bus line to Gare de l'est and Gare du Nord. Our room was freshly renovated and clean. The beds were comfy and the shower had a nice strong flow of water. There is always someone present at the front desk. The only downside I can see is that if you get a room on the top floor, you risk getting some exercise. The family room is on the 1st floor.

Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The room was slightly bigger than expected and very clean. 24 hour reception was good and the hotel felt very safe and welcoming.

The towels were tiny and only one each person so after showers there were no dry hand towels. There was building work going outside our window which was quite loud in the mornings. You could hear every movement of other people in the corridor outside the room at all times of day. The room was on the 4th floor and there were no lifts!

The room is quite good, they clean it every day, there is a shower, hair dryer, glasses, towels, bed linen. Also if you need to warm up food, you can, there is also a refrigerator on the first floor. Since we were in December, the room is very warm. The staff is very friendly, they will help with any questions. The hotel is located in a very good area, everything is within walking distance.

I would like to have a small refrigerator in the room.

Fantastic value for money, private toilet and basin was a bonus for us as we were expecting fully shared bathroom facilities. Great location in Paris, very close to the metro. Staff are there 24/7 even over Christmas. Housekeeping even continued over this time. Flexible check in was provided even when we didn’t ask. Room was warm and comfortable. Soaps were provided.

It wasn’t a problem for us but we noticed that sound really travels through the property so if you are a light sleeper and like to sleep in/go to bed early, it may not be for you. Also not a problem for us but something to be aware of is a steep spiral staircase so large and heavy luggage could be challenging to manage.

Ideal for a few nights or transit. Comfortable beds, clean linen, toilet and shower after renovation. Furnishings in the room at a minimum but no more and do not need for a short time. The furniture is old, but functional. Good location, close to two metro lines. A little noisy in the evening from the cafes downstairs. But this is Paris and it is part of Parisian life. Towards midnight, people go home and there is silence. Excellent value for money. Would stay here again for a couple of nights. Good luck and prosperity to the hotel and staff!!!

I'm really happy with my stay at Hotel Luna Park. The room was very basic, but that was really perfect for our time in Paris. We had clean towels, sheets and the room was made up daily. The staff were really friendly and attentive (thank you to each one of you). The room was warm (great because it's November) and had a hair dryer. The location is really great for walking around on foot, by metro and there are a lot of options for food/dining. It was a great stay for a great price.

Our stay was great. The only thing I would suggest is a kettle in the room as we love to have a warm tea before bed every night.

The location was absolutely amazing, so convenient to access the metro and get around the city. The room was much bigger than I was expecting and the bathroom was a decent size too!!

The beds and pillows were extremely hard which may have turned into an issue if I’d been staying longer than 2 nights. The walls are also very thin so sound came in very easily. Stairs would’ve also been an issue if my luggage had been much heavier but I was aware of this before arriving.
