Our stay at Hotel Opera Maintenon was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The hotel’s location is perfect—nestled in the heart of Paris, just a short walk from iconic landmarks like the Louvre and the Opera Garnier. The room was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated. We especially appreciated the cozy bed and the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city. The amenities were excellent, and the complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were always friendly, professional, and ready to assist with any request or recommendation. Their local tips helped me discover hidden gems in Paris that we would have otherwise missed. We can’t recommend Hotel Opera Maintenon enough. It’s a true gem in Paris and the perfect choice for anyone looking for a combination of good price, comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. We will definitely be returning on my next trip to this beautiful city!

Location is great - in the center of Paris and close to the Metro. The neighborhood is also very charming as has loads of great and varied restaurant options, from Bistros to Brasseries to Noodle shops

Rooms are small but comfortable - I wish the beds were a little bigger.

Room was small but cozy. It was clean, bed was comfortable. Near Japanese food. Not too far a walk to the Louvre. Area felt safe.

N/A. Hotel was fine. Only complaint might be that we took a shuttle to the airport and we felt the driver double charged my son and I. We could be mistaken, maybe it was 65 euros each but we were led to believe that it was just 65 euros for the ride itself. The driver said it wasn’t once we got to the airport, so going to just trust him and hope it was just our own misunderstanding. The shuttle service was called by the hotel but it may also be its own independent deal and has nothing to do with the hotel. Just wanted to send a warning for people to check the price before they request one.

The location is excellent. We were 3 friends sharing a triple room. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable with nice quality bedding. The room did not feel cramped. The bathroom is lovely and a decent size. The windows looking out onto the street were a nice bonus. The area felt safe. We were able to take a bus direct to Gare du Nord from a stop very close to the hotel for 2 euros each!

The shower head attachment was broken. A kettle or coffee maker in the room would nice. We took a travel kettle and had breakfast out. There are lots of great cafes within a 5/10 minute walk of the hotel.

Some of our group had stayed at this hotel before. I enjoyed being there the last time I was over in Paris and wasn’t disappointed this time either .The location is perfect for getting out and about . The hotel staff are very helpful and the rooms, although small are comfortable and well enough appointed . This is a small hotel and a hidden gem. I will certainly. Use it again.

The only thing that could be found difficult is that the lift is only accessible from the first floor and the staircase is a bit awkward.

We loved the location of the hotel. Louvre and metro station less than 5mins away so able to get around the city very easily. Lots of great restaurants in the area, staff all very friendly and helpful, hotel spotlessly clean in all areas and beds very comfortable.

We did not have any issues and found the hotel to be very good. Would not hesitate to stay here again and would reccomend to others.

Very well located within walking distance of the Louvre and Tuileries. The staff here are amazing, speaking excellent English and helping us with our mediocre French. The hotel is near many excellent asian restaurants (Japanese & Korean) and within walking distance of many excellent bistro and boulangerie. The rooms were larger than we expected and very well appointed. We loved opening the windows (not for long as it was winter) and enjoying a typically Parisian view.

Note: the hotel has a small elevator from level 1 (i.e. you need to climb one flight of stairs to access it). Not a negative and no issue for us but worth noting if mobility is limited.

The room was beautiful! With its window view, was wonderful listening to Paris come alive. The staff was fabulous. They always asked if we wanted breakfast, kept us informed, truly very attentive. We love that it’s family owned. We love supporting non franchised businesses. The history of the hotel was very interesting. Staff helped with suggestions where to eat and shop. The location was amazing. Easy to get to a lot of attractions. Would highly recommend this hotel and plan on going back!!

Great triple bed room with double sink bathroom. Staff were helpful with anything we asked, in particular young lady on duty. Stored bags and returned by friends pj's that she left plus her phone that they are returning to England!Easy to walk to Louve and main shopping area. Enjoyed breakfast for 10 euro - continental only but fine for us. Would stay again - good value and base. Taxis take about an hour to the airport.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location-wise, it's so close to the Louvre and just a few minutes away from one of the Christmas markets. There's also a tram station- Pyramides- right around the corner.

I felt a bit misguided by the pictures beforehand, which looked nothing like the actual room. It's definitely not the quality that appears in the pictures. The hotel is right on the street so there's a lot of noise from traffic. Thankfully, it was a quiet at night but first thing in the morning it's significant. Also, the shower facilities weren't great- you have to hold the shower head yourself because it won't hook onto the wall..
