The hotel felt cozy, had a good location with metro access nearby and the view from the little balcony in my room looked cool. The room itself was very clean, although a bit tired. But this actually harmonised with the surrounding neighbourhood and the view, so all in all, it felt really authentic. I really appreciated the extra heater in my room. The breakfast didn’t have warm options, but it was possible to boil yourself eggs. You could get your stomach full from the tasty croissants though. And there was freshly squeezed orange juice! Generally, the kitchen area was very nice and you could get yourself a cup of tea or coffee all day long.

The bathroom was tiny, but that’s no big deal 🙂

- Location was great; Near two metro stations and in a nice area of Butte Aux Cailles. We walked to the city center couple of times. - Staff and cleaners were excellent and kind; Special thanks that we got help when doing our laundry a near-by laundromat. - Breakfast was bountiful and tasty!

Please notice that these are preferences that may not affect your staying experiences: - My over 190 cm partner didn't fit to stand straight in the shower - Our room was a little dimly lighted, which maded hard to write - Even in a double bed we would have preferred two separate blankets over one shared - Towels were too soft for our taste and it was difficult to hang them; Only hangers where big knobs on the door and towels kept falling down

Although my google map took me the long way round,we later found the property was 10 minute walk from the place d'italie metro station,which in turn is served by multiple lines including M5 direct from gare de nord where the eurostar arrived.The hotel is on a quiet street ,with bars/restaurants within 5 minutes walk,with many more near place d'italie including KFC and Macdonalds. There is a slightly closer metro at Corvisart which serves the M6 which goes to the eiffel tower in one direction,all metros operate with a ticket on entry barriers for E2.1 per ticket,so as long as stay in metro system you can go all over Paris,and just buy another ticket to cover your return.Unless visiting loads of places in one day should proove cheaper than day passes which you can also get at all metro stations. Hotel staff all very friendly with special mention to Valerie,on reception.

Hotel bar fairly basic,but makes more sense to drink in many nearby bars especially in happy hours usually 17:00to 24:00 where a pint of lager,known as bier blonde can be got for E4.00,even cheaper would be takeout from local supermarket.

I was disappointed when when I saw my friends had booked a hotel relatively far out of the centre but this gem of a hotel exceeded my expectations . The location turned out great - in a largely residential area with real shops, a market, appealing street art and cobbled streets. It was a quiet and restful area to return to at the end of a busy day sightseeing, and the uncrowded metro was very convenient (choice of two stations). A taxi from Gare de Nord only cost 18 euros which I thought was reasonable. And the staff were amazing - so helpful, engaging and genuinely wanting us to have a good time. Check in was available early (we came on the first Eurostar) and luggage storage was easy on departure. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, another surprise with lovely joghurts, cereals, a fresh orange machine, fresh pastries, cheeses and breads. Good coffee (drip and machine). I would definitely return here (hopefully soon!)

All was very good. The location may not suit you if you want to be next to the Eiffel tower but we loved it.

Fantastic location near metro in a unique and charming neighbourhood in Paris. Breakfast was so delicious, with pastries, meats and cheeses, freshly squeezed OJ and more. Coffee was available all day, which was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly, warm and helpful throughout the stay. Room was clean and bed was bigger than expected and quite comfortable, with good pillows. Shower had good water pressure and hot water throughout. Thank you for a lovely stay in a world class city.

If travelling in the summer, note that the AC is not very strong and it gets quite hot at night. The room is small but that’s to be expected in Paris, the bathroom is small also, but if you’re strategic with packing/unpacking it works. I think they could improve with adding some drawers, shelving, or other storage space generally.

Breakfast is the best we had in an Ibis so far. We liked that neighbourhood was residential but still easy to reach and walk around. The rooms are clean.

If you go there in winter, the rooms have no central heating. The air conditioning and the extra electric heaters that the reception kindly gives you works to an extent. We had a few cold nights. The shower is a walk-in with a curtain. Expect to have a wet floor after a shower.

Location 8/10. The hotel is situated close to Convisart metro station and Place d'Italie in a very quiet neighbourhood. Service 10/10. Zahir and the whole staff were helpful, kind and smiley. The Reception is open 24/7 and it helps a lot as due to the National Strike in February I landed to Paris with a delayed flight and could reach the hotel only at midnight. Breakfast 8/10. The products offered are good and the buffet available from 6am to 10am. Not having warm products but only prepared ones it's a miss as well as being served the same breakfast for 5 days. I would suggest to have it changed after few days. It really makes the difference if you stay more than 3 nights. Price 9/10. A nice room with bathroom in a quite central location which will allow you to reach each attraction in Paris in few minutes of metro. 5 nights in Valentine week with breakfast included for only 630 euros tax included.

The property met my expectations.

Nice, clean and friendly hotel, we will happily come again. Extremely nice people, great breakfast. It is in a residential area, so rather calm and "authentic parisien" :) but you have good connection everywhere via metro 6. There is also a reasonably large Auchan (supermarket) a few steps from the hotel, where we got the snacks for our picknicks under the Eiffel tower and for Disneyland...

The breakfast area is limited so you might need to wait a few minutes in the rush moments... But the staff really do their best to make everyone happy..

The family room was fine, but the single mattresses were quite hard, whereas the double mattress was too soft. We could open the windows in the room to get some fresh air inside. There is airconditioning and heating in the room as well. Excellent location, quiet but safe at night, nice restaurants, metro just around the corner, affordable parking (Interparking) very close by. Breakfast was good, staff was very quick at refilling everything. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel has 6 floors, 12 rooms on each floor.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, the check in was very easy and housekeeping was up to standard. The breakfast hours were fine, the location was good, all you need is a quick walk to the metro and amenities. Wifi was good too, the beds are comfy.

Breakfast was nice, but there was a lack of fresh vegetables like tomatoes or cucumbers and there was no hot food like scrambled eggs. Poor selection for vegans, apart from soy milk and cereals and basic bread there is not much you could eat. The room we were in was next to the road, so it was noisy at times and also had dark dirty marks on the door and on the walls. The 3in1 shampoo, face was and body wash was not very pleasant to use.
