I liked the location. It was walkable to many places and also close to many public transport options yet also quiet. The hotel was very charming and old fashioned. The room was nice and big. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and I was pleasantly surprised that they all knew me by name, which is not usual in most hotels. I liked that it was small. I had breakfast a couple days and it was a nice selection. Other than a few brief blips where it went out the Wi-Fi worked well for me. I also liked how the hotel doesn't change prices every other day like many hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

There really isn't anything. The only thing I could say is I had a bit difficulty with temperature control in my room. There was thankfully an extra warm blanket that helped. I do acknowledge it might possibly be my fault and also that it is an old building. Nothing that ruined my stay though.

I very much enjoyed my stay. I loved the room - it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is AMAZING. It is next to the Odeon, so you are so centrally located. I walked everywhere. And yet, at night, the room was so, so quiet. Even though you are near everything, there was no street sound at all. Also, the staff members were all so kind - the owner Mr. Cherel, the front desk staff, Rene' and Laurent, and also the housekeeping staff, Nadoun and Sampath. Each day I was greeted so kindly, and if I had any questions, everyone was so helpful, so accommodating. The staff is so important to the enjoyment of a facility, and I was very happy during my stay.

The front desk staff were always helpful. professional and pleasant. We were able to get transportation to the airport at 4 am with their help. The property is beautiful and historical. You can't hear outside noises from your room. Easy walk to subway. Easy to get a cab. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity.

Internet reception is very unstable. It was difficult to check in our flights.

Really good location & nice and quiet.

I first stayed here well over 30 years ago & like the decoration but felt my room needed a little bit of attention. (Carpet,wall covering) Also think as the shower is over the bath the control should be a thermostatic mitigeur as a safety issue.

such a beautiful, very French-style hotel. immaculately clean, delicious breakfast, fantastic location just a 7min journey from Gard du Nord on the RER and in a lovely area. Really quiet at night. Lovely staff. I would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay there again. We loved everything about it. We stayed in a suite on the ground floor which looked out onto a beautiful little garden - just gorgeous!

We ordered breakfast only for 1 day but it was plentiful and fresh. Freshly squeezed orange juice was impressive. Front desk was obliging and impressive. Huge shout out to Laurent who actually emailed us before the trip to ask what sort of beds we wanted. Over all amazing hotel spacious rooms which is rare and a gorgeous property

Wifi sucked- they did fix it but wasn’t the best. Also room was constantly hot. Room overlooked the street which was noisy

Friendly staff. Good breakfast, comfortable clean bedroom, residents lounge with papers. Great location near Luxembourg gardens and lots of good cafes and restaurants.

Nothing really, could perhaps have more tea/coffee available in room... but so many good cafes available locally to enjoy.

Location is superb! Close to metro and not far from the most iconic places. Everyone at the hotel were super helpful and very nice which makes our first trip to Paris very easy and chill. If we will get back to Paris this will be our first spot to check if it is available.

I love the fact that the hotel has fixed prices rather than practicing "dynamic pricing". The hotel is wonderfully located bur very quiet. Friendly staff, nice big room. I will go back.

The internet connection is not strong and not properly secured. This is a problem for those needing to connect during their stay. There was no normal, black tea in the room - only herbal teas.

The location is great; the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. Thank you!! The hotel is very quaint and decorated with taste - in the photos it looks a bit dark but it’s really lovely and has a lot of character. also very clean. We got the large family room and our two kids slept well in the sofa bed - good quality. I would definitely recommend it.
