Very quiet location. Spotless rooms with comfortable beds. Very friendly staff.

Extra tax to be paid on top of cost of room

The location of the hotel is excellent. Tucked away on a quiet street but right nearby some amazing restaurants and cafes/boulangeries (best croissants!) and so close to the Metro, this hotel ticked all our boxes for location. We were also able to walk from Gare du Nord to the hotel which was handy. The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean and comfortable to use. The bathroom is particularly nice. The toilet was in a separate room to the showers which was handy when sharing a room with others. The staff were polite and were there 24/7 as you need to hand in the keys to your room when you leave. We didn’t have any issues picking up the keys at 1am on Bastille Day which was appreciated.

The room got quite hot at night and with only a fan and a balcony that has a door but no windows, we felt limited in how we could cool down at night. The balcony is otherwise a really nice feature. The toilet was quite small. Claustrophobics may not like it. Our room had some paint chipping away on its wall.

The toilet was separated from the shower which was nice and they were newly renovated. The beds were comfortable and they had 2 pillows each which was great for me, a side sleeper. Above all, the staff were extremely helpful and communicative.

The furniture was a little like college dormitories. Also there was only instant coffee in the room. My morning coffee is very important to me and I will not drink instant coffee. There should be a proper coffee maker in the room.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Booked a single room, but was upgraded for a much better room with no additional cost. Recently renovated. Comfortable bed. Tea/coffee making option was very useful. Incredible view from the small balcony. In October the room was quite warm. Not sure, but may be hot in summer (since it does not have a conditioning unit) and cold in winter (?) However, they do have additional blanket. The breakfast was pretty good. The staff is friendly and helping. The room was clean and housekeeping during the stay was also good.

Our room was comfortable. We loved the Juliet balcony. It was nice to have a separate WC from the sink and shower. We opened windows and were surprised at the quietness of the neighborhood, being so close to Gare du Nord. We wished we had more time to explore the immediate vicinity. It seemed like a nice area of the city. We were able to get all over town from here though, with less than 30 minute walks or bus rides. Breakfast was very nice, typical French choices. The staff was so helpful and kind.

A little larger safe would have been nice. My iPad didn't fit. Oh well.

Small hotel, so breakfast was easy with tables available and the food did not run out. Our twin room was not big, but had the bathroom at the back, so we had a nice through draught in the warm weather. Very comfortable.

Not controllable by the hotel, the street is fairly noisy at night, with people singing and loud music from a nearby bar to about 1am.

The hotel is close to Gare du Nord but is in a safe neighborhood close to the metro. The room is adequate in size. The street noise is completely shut out once the window is closed. The bed is comfortable. The front desk was very helpful teaching us about getting around Paris with the metro.

There is no A/C but a fan is provided, which was fine during our stay in early July.

Nice place, enough to spend a good time sleep after visiting Paris.

It was something strange that I have never seen to any other place. The hotel closed at 1 AM every night. We wanted to go out at night and when we came back we had to call at the reception and disturb the receptionist. I felt really bad that he had to come from his room and open us the door. Really now, what other hotel closes its doors in the night ? What if you get sick in the night and you want to get a walk for a fresh air? You are practically locked inside. That was really strange. Anyway, the receptionist was nice and he came to open as at 2 AM every night but still, I felt very uncomfortable.

The computer did not remember that I already payed for the reservation, so exidently I payed again. But of course I got back the money for the second transition. That was a little annoying, but other than that I was pleased with everything.

Our room was spotlessly clean. Though small, the room had everything we needed in it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Conveniently located for Gare du Nord. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. A good value choice for a short stay in Paris.

There is no air con (though a desk fan was provided in the room). Not a problem for us but something to bear in mind if travelling during hot weather.
