I had a room away from the street and it was great. Quiet and comfy. The location is an easy walk into the centre of town and Audrey helpfully marked out interesting locations for me on a map. I decided to have breakfast there in the morning to make things easy. I was expecting an English style breakfast but instead there were a bunch of different French savoury delights, cold meats, cheese etc. I really enjoyed trying something much more locally inspired. The location of the hotel was excellent for us as we arrived and left by train and also visited local towns by train which involved a short 10 min walk down the road. The staff were very friendly and helpful making suggestions for places to visit. We had breakfast every day and found it tasty ,plentiful and healthy. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bed and shower were both great and there was much- needed air conditioning as well as a kettle and a hairdryer. The lift worked well. We used the small shop opposite to buy milk, water and snacks - it was open until 10pm. Perpignan is a great centre and just 10 mins from the hotel to a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and tourist attractions. There is a very good bus service and some unmissable sights like the Palace, Castle and Pamms Hotel.

I got the last room which was small and would have been uncomfortable for a couple, it was fine for me. The guest upstairs kept his shoes on and was walking around from 5am onwards. The soundproofing was inadequate as I could hear the people next door. That was the only drawback but probably nothing much can be done about it apart from a rug on the floor?

From arrival to departure the proprietors did everything they possibly could to make my stay enjoyable including advice on tourist sites, local shops and restaurants. The breakfast with homemade delicacies is excellent. The location of the hotel near the railway station and local bus services for trips out of Perpignan, whilst being 10 minutes on foot from the centre of Perpignan, is extremely convenient.

Eva was very good at reaching out to me on WhatsApp messenger prior to my stay. Overall I enjoyed my stay. There wasn't much open in terms of bars and restaurants in the city centre as it was a Monday night. I stopped over in Perpignan on an interrail trip.

We met a bit of resistance from the lady looking after the hotel at night, There were some communication issues when we arrived back about 23H and the reception had closed. I was advised to call the number outside the door if the reception was shut earlier when I checked in, which I did.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Towels were good quality. Good price. Free upgrade to room with a balcony.

Breakfast wasn't served until 8am, which was when we needed to leave to catch our flight. It would have been helpful if service started at 7am. There was only one teabag and no milk in our room.

Easy to find - just up the road from the station - and within easy reach of all key parts of the city. Exceptional customer service - friendly and knowledgeable. Small but well-planned comfortable room. Smart and clean.

Didn’t really mean much to me, but the tea and coffee disappeared after the first night. I should have asked why. Also, again it didn’t bother me, the TV remote didn’t work. Late-night street noise might be an irriitance if you like sleeping with a window open.

Check in went very well. Corinne was very nice and helpful too. Explained where the train station was and how close to Perpignan the hotel was too. Should have booked a room with a balcony but my fault completely. Will stay there again for sure when in Perpignan.

Got a room at the back which did not have much of a view but entirely my fault when I booked.

When we arrived at Nyx Boutique Hotel, we were welcomed happily and most graciously. We felt ourselves to be immediately at home and in a friendly, caring place. Patrons can expect a cozy, tidy room with a clean, efficient bathroom. We wish we could transport this accommodation with us wherever we travel.

I would be hard-pressed to find something about this hotel that we didn't like. It's a French Hotel so for those expecting a huge room, don't be stupid. Enjoy the wonderful facility, kind staff, and amazing location!

Very very small room I asked many times for 2 single beds and got 1 bed. No space in room to separate bigger bed. Sold as hotel room but no hotel facilities like a bar or restaurant. Don't label yourself something you are not able to fulfil
