Modern room; friendly & helpful staff; excellent location overlooking the town square

The shower! Bathroom is very small so shower door is on a hinge and opens into the small cubicle (see pic below). It’s really difficult to get into and out of this shower - you have to back yourself into the corner and even then the door edge is squeezing against my breastbone whilst opening or closing - I really think if you are a heavy guy or a woman it’s going to be a problem getting in & out of this cubicle.

The location is bang in the centre and looking out onto the square! The bed, pillows and bedding was so comfortable, Always hot water and fresh towels aswell. Maid came in and cleaned the room daily, leaving fresh towels water etc. All staff were very nice and helpful

We liked everything except one night there was a lot of noise from the square which affected sleep, it was only the one night and suppose to be expected due to central location

Everything was good, the location excellent, the parking OK (though I may be getting a ticket!), clean, comfortable, and the breakfast served in our room was delicious. Perfect.

I had understood we had payed the charge for breakfast inclusive in our booking price. The hotel insisted that it was not and we must ay extra for the breakfast. We paid an additional Euros 9 per head for the breakfast, but it was very good breakfast, brought to our room very promptly.

A great place to stay in Poitiers. Situated in the heart of the centre (pedestrian area) next to the 'hotel de ville" surrounded by restaurants and cafes and walking distance to most of the "must-see" tourist sites in the city. To arrive at the destination choose "parking hôtel de ville" if coming by car. Good level of security where at night you can only access it by using your room's key as the main door is locked. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We made a good choice for a two-night stay including a day spent at Futuroscope which is 20 min by car from the hotel. Definitely recommended!

This hotel is slap-bang in the middle of Poitiers; the rooms are compact but more than adequate for a short stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is brought to your room as there is no dining room.

Everything was fine, so nothing to criticise. The hotel is in a pedestrian zone so beware of this if you need to drop off bags.

We enjoyed our stay here, we had lovely view from our room, the room was a nice size and cosy. Staff were lovely . Location was excellent. I would recommend this hotel highly.

Only a minor detail but would have liked soap in the bathroom basin. Only one dispenser of soap in the shower, so every time you wash your hands you had to go into shower to dispense some soap.

The staff were super helpful and pleasant, putting up with our mispronounced French! The bedroom was a good size. The location was excellent for restaurants and shops. A perfect base for visiting mediaeval architecture and Roman churches. The continental breakfast was excellent.

Occasionally waste bin wasn’t emptied.

Fantastic location. Lovely room overlooking the square and hôtel de ville. The tea/coffee making tray and water was a nice touch. Good fast hairdryer. Useful guide on the desk. The sitting room between the reception and 1st floor was a pleasant surprise. Parking 150m away

The shower is up a step and the shower tray is slippery. A hazard for older people like us!

The staff were very helpful and allowed us to use their fridge to store our food, as there are no fridges in the room. The location is fantastic with great views on the balcony. It is a small but functional space.

The room is very small, which is fine for one night, but any longer it would feel a little cramped.

-The location is the best , the view from the terrace is awesome. -We met 1 guy and 1 lady from the staff and both were very nice and friendly. -We will definitely choose this hotel again.

-No more staff after 9.00 PM, and only in one of our night stay , we had a bad incident: more then 12 adolescents had a party in the next room till 5-6.00 AM , with loud music and we couldn't contact anyone from the hotel; but Police came later and kicked them up from the hotel. -Rooms/ (Sounds) are not isolated at all. - No small refrigerator in the room, and no Kettle.
