We were slightly concerned when booking as the property is on the main road through the town, however we able to park right outside & once through the gates of the property we found a beautiful haven of calm with plenty of places to sit and relax in the pretty garden. We had the attic room which was very spacious. Valérie was the perfect host who provided a lovely continental breakfast, recommended a great restaurant for dinner & even helped me with my French! If you don't want to eat out, there is a fully equipped communal kitchen where you can cook your own food. Ponterson is the perfect place to stay for visiting the Normandy coast & especially Mont Saint Michel, which is an amazing place. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is very close to Le Mont St Michel, restaurants and grocery are nearby. Valerie was a wonderful host and served a filling breakfast daily. The property was very clean and the garden wonderfully maintained, only wish the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed the patio!

Nothing negative to say, except a note to taller guests that the attic room has a sloped roof so you need to watch your head (bumped mine a couple of times).

Valerie is a great host! Very accomodating and helpful! Big attic room all for ourselves. We've used the microwave downstairs to heat up food. Great breakfast and about 5 minute walk to Pontorson train station.

Toilet is on the way to the room, kind of outside the room but its ok as we were not there during the day, we were only there basically for sleeping and resting.

The room is very clean and comfortable, with lovely furniture and decoration. We felt peace and contentment when we came back from a whole day visit, where we needed to cope with tiredness and cold (1 °C). After the wonderful breakfast every morning, we always felt energetic to visit le Mont Saint Michel. The hostess is very kind and friendly.

Wonderful stay, feels like home with personal attention by owner. Room is spacious, modern but at the same time very cozy, clean, high quality materials with fridge etc. Grounds was really nice, with beautiful flowers/plants, chicken etc. Owner was very kind, helpful, attentive without being intrusive. Can take bus nearby directly to Mont St Michel, better than taxi which can be pricey.

Like everyone else has mentioned, Valerie is very friendly and helpful. She helped us plan our visit to Mont Saint Michel and also to take the coastal route to Saint Malo via Cancale, which was beautiful! The stay is good value for money, the garden is amazing and so is the pet chicken Josée :) The breakfast was ok. The location is very convenient with shops, bakery and restaurants nearby.

The fridge was a bit noisy at night and we could also hear our neighbours walking at night which interrupted our sleep but we mostly got used to it the second night :)

What a nice place! And what a friendly hostess! We stayed for 2 nights in an attic suite and it was perfect: Spacious room, very clean, tastefully decorated! Valerie is such an interesting, polite and fiendly person! Our son enjoyed so much feeding lovable Josée (the pet hen) with her! The property is located in an enormously interesting area on the border of Normandy to Brittany. It is really difficult to plan which place to visit and choose among all of them! And... breakfast, in simple words: delicious, ample, really french!!!

I love everything here! Valérie is a fantastic host. This place is so lovely with beautiful garden and cute silkie walking around. Also the location is quite close to Pontorson train station which you can take a bus to Mont Saint Michel from here. Comfy and clean bed, toiletries and great breakfast provided here was fantastic.

This is a gorgeous B&B, we stayed in the attic room which was very comfortable, the bed was especially cozy. Valerie is such a lovely host, she was very welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home. The garden spaces Valerie has created are beautiful, lots of private areas for guests to relax. And the breakfast was delicious, great coffee too! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

Located some 10 km from Mt St Michel it is a great jumping off point to visit this sight. The town is small so that you walk across all of it in 15 minutes but has all amenities that you need. The B&B itself is really beautiful with a wonderful garden to chill and have a nice coffee outside. The room we stayed in was much nicer than it appears in the picture, sparkling clean and stylishly decorated. It is very generous in terms of space, even for our family of four. Breakfast was a typical French continental breakfast with lots of croissants, baguettes, jams, yogurths etc. There is also a fully equipped shared kitchen which you can use to cook own meals which is not that obvious from the listing itself. And of course Valerie was very accommodating and friendly, thanks a lot!

Location of the toilet was somewhat odd (downstairs, virtually outside of the room). Check-in hours sound very tight, but I am sure Valerie would accommodate you if you need to check in outside of this window - just need to be clear about that (we were touch and go on arriving by 8pm).
